Color is an important element of the landscape and a main part of the plastic arts,but ordinarily the landscape color is defined by qualitative description.Due to the lack of specific color language and color scheme,readers may understand a same color description in different ways.However,the current research on aquatic plant landscape is generally in two categories,one is studying the water purification capacity based on the view of ecology,the second is to explore its landscape techniques from the perspective of the beauty.But the research of color data of the aquatic plants landscape is still in the immature stage.Based on the HSB color model,we collected the color of semi-natural color,artificial color and plant landscape in Aquatic Plant Garden of Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden.The semi-natural color and artificial color were extracted to rank the brightness value and saturation value,and the distribution map was analysesed.Based on the sampling and investigation of the seasonal color of the plant landscape,the landscape seasonal images of the five theme parks were used as samples to study the changes of the order,the degree of chroma and the background hue in different seasons.Based on the theory of chromatology,the color estimation method is used to calculate the suitable color range of each theme garden.The seasonal variation of seasonal color and the rationality of color are analyzed by data comparison.The color data of the plants group in the terrestrial area and the waterfront area were collected,and the color matching was investigated on collected position,the coloring plant type and the frequency of the application.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:23 sets of semi-natural color and artificial color were collected,almost are low chroma in terms of the degree of saturation and the degree of brightness.There are 13 groups of high color chroma,9 groups of middle brightness,2 groups of low light color,which means that the distribution map of semi-natural color and artificial color in the Aquatic Plants Theme Garden are mainly located in the low color color,high and medium color range.In the analysis of seasonal changes of the five theme parks,a total of 332 sets of color data were collected,and 289 groups of suitable color were found.The middle saturation and the middle brightness are the main color.The landscape color of aquatic plant garden is seasonal changed and the result showed as follows: hygrophytes park,new green ~ dark green ~ yellowish green ~ green and red;the special aquatic botanical garden,new green ~ dark green ~ yellowish green ~ yellow and green;shade plant and fern Botanical Garden,new green ~ green ~ yellow and green ~ atrovirens;Iris Garden,new green ~ dark green ~ yellow and green ~ yellow and green;The Royal Water Lily Pond,new green ~ dark green ~ yellow and green ~ yellow and green.Based on the analysis of seasonal color matching,the result reveals a dynamic changing of landscape.Flowers are the major ornamental plant in spring in white and yellow and summer in blue and purple,and the color sets of pink – blue – purple and orange – red were showed as complementary color for spring and summer respectively.As for the autumn and winter,fruits become the main scenery with the dominated color of yellow-brown for autumn and red – brown for winter.However,there are still some problem remained to be resolved,such as the lack of color variation in spring and winter as a result of the simplicity of matching technique s.To address the problem above,we suggest that: enriching the color combination for terrestrial regional in summer;adding ornamental plants for autumn and winter;and enriching ornamental plant color combination.And according to the statistics of plant color data and plotting the color lump to make a reference for seasonal color matching.
