Agricultural economic development plays a fundamental role in the national economy development. The promotion of agricultural production mechanization not only saves labor,but also improves the efficiency of agricultural production. The development of testing trolley is devoted to provide a test platform for new agricultural machines and equipments. Then the machines' quality and defect can be scientifically assessed through scientific test method and data analysis. The testing trolley is performed on the rail for experimental study and the rail is in a indoor soil bin,so that the weather and season factors can be avoided. The test can be conducted at anytime and the machines' development and promotion time can be shortened.The rail-wheel-drive-agricultural test trolley was researched and designed according to existing research results at home and abroad. The design of trolley mainly includes mechanical structure, hydraulic system and control system. The structure of trolley mainly includes walking mechanism, machine frame, rear suspension and limit wheel. The rear suspension is so important that its structure is designed and its function is represented in detail.The hydraulic system and control system cooperates together to complete the various functions of trolley. Particularly the stepless speed control of the trolley's drive motor is achieved through PLC control inverter of control system. So the functions of hydraulic system and control system are represented in detail.ANSYS was used to make static analysis for the trolley with maximum resistance applied by rear suspension(maximum fraction). ADAMS was used to make dynamic characteristics simulation analysis, especially on braking performance. The structural design is proved reasonable and further optimized after analysis and simulation.After the completion of design, the prototype was manufactured. Then its trial operation proved the systems run correctly. The trolley was also test with trailer parts when it was working and analyzes the collected data. It drew a conclusion that the test trolley can satisfy the quality test for agriculture equipments' working status and provide a test platform for new agricultural machines and equipments. The trolley completely meets the design requirement.
