China's forest resources is scarce,so the forest resources inventory work on the management and utilization of forest resources has a very important role.In the forest resource inventory,accurate image data are needed to participate in the quantitative calculation.However,in the area where the terrain is fluctuating,due to the uneven illumination,there are often local areas such as mountain sunny and shady slope,But also because of the adequacy of water vapor caused by the mist area,these areas are low contrast,spectral information is not sufficient,the quantitative calculation of forest resources,the results of a great impact,and China's independent research and development of GF remote sensing satellites have begun to invest in forestry industry research and use.However,for the low contrast of remote sensing images,the researchers used basic image enhan,cement such as spatial filtering,frequency domain filtering and mathematical morphology to deal with.These methods are not helpful to improve the image contrast and restore the spectral information of the sunny slope.In this paper,we use the reduced contrast adaptive histogram equalization algorithm and the two-dimensional histogram equalization algorithm in the enhancement method to deal with the GF image to improve the image contrast and restore the spectral information of the sunny slope.In the process,the image quality evaluation system is used as the auxiliary parameter index to guide the evaluation of the image quality.In this paper,it is found that the enhancement effect of the two algorithms on the GF image is very good,which can effectively improve the contrast of the image and restore the spectral brightness of the sunny slope.In order to limit the contrast adaptive histogram equalization algorithm,the selected area image is processed by setting different neighborhood size and cutting threshold.The increase of the neighborhood and the decrease of the cutting threshold will cause the processing result to move towards the original image of the direction of the offset,on the contrary will make the image in the direction of distortion.The two-dimensional histogram equalization algorithm only by changing the size of the neighborhood,you can achieve different processing effects,neighborhood increases will also make the image toward the original image similar to the direction of offset.Based on the objective evaluation index and the visual effect,it is concluded that the effect of the two-dimensional histogram equalization algorithm is better than that of the contrast adaptive histogram equalization,and the parameter setting is also simpler.And the results of the treatment were applied to the sublot division of the forest resource survey,and the processed image could better highlight the landform and other information,and it was helpful to draw the sublot with the mountain image.
