The paper focus on the typical Karst region in Guizhou Province, based on the GF-1?ZY-1?02C?ZY-3 remote sensing image of Guizhou Province in 2015,rainfall data,DEM data, soil and geological data, according to the << Standards for classification and gradation of soil erosion >>(SL190-2007)and << Techniques standard for comprehensive control of soil erosion and water loss in karst region >>(SL461-2009),proposed by the Ministry of water resources, with the help of remote sensing investigation(Geographic Information System(GIS)and remote sensing(RS)technology combined)and RUSLE model(Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation),to investigated the status of soil erosion in Guizhou Province in 2015;Made a comparative analysis from the statistical and spatial consistency of the two sets of results;and according to the results of remote sensing investigation and RUSLE model, the soil erosion was optimized. The main conclusions as follows:(1)Results of soil erosion based on Remote Sensing Investigation: Soil erosion of Guizhou in 2015 covers an area of 68199.40 km~2,which occupies 38.73% of the total land area. The area and proportion of different soil erosion grades: Mired erosion covers an area of 107899.60 km~2,which occupies 61.27% of the total land area;Mild erosion covers an area of 37363.39 km~2,which occupies 21.22% of the total land area;Moderate erosion covers an area of 15627.99 km~2,which occupies 8.87% of the total land area;High erosion covers an area of 9612.39 km~2,which occupies 5.46% of the total land area;Very high erosion covers an area of 4187.09 km~2,which occupies 2.38% of the total land area;Extreme erosion covers an area of 1408.54 km~2,which occupies 0.80% of the total land area.(2)Results of soil erosion based on RUSLE model: Soil erosion of Guizhou in 2015 covers an area of 63971.75 km~2,which occupies 36.33% of the total area of the province. The area and proportion of different soil erosion grades: Mired erosion covers an area of 112127.25 km~2,which occupies 63.67% of the total land area;Mild erosion covers an area of 39109.27 km~2,which occupies 22.21% of the total land area;Moderate erosion covers an area of 16719.53 km~2,which occupies 9.49% of the total area of the province;High erosion covers an area of 5575.65 km~2,which occupies 3.17% of the total land area;Very high erosion covers an area of 2044.59 km~2,which occupies 1.16% of the total land area;Extreme erosion covers an area of 522.71 km~2,which occupies 0.30% of the total land area.(3)The results of soil erosion based on remote sensing investigation and RUSLE model were better coincident.Among them,The soil erosion area of RUSLE model was reduced by 4227.64km~2,and the area ratio decreased by 2.40%.Mired erosion area increased by 4227.64 km~2,and the area ratio increased by 2.40%;Mild erosion area increased by 1745.88 km~2,area ratio increased by 0.99%;Moderate erosion area increased by 1091.55km~2,area ratio increased by 0.62%;High erosion area decreased by 4036.75km~2 and the area ratio decreased by 2.29%;Very high erosion area decreased by 2142.49km~2 and the area ratio decreased by 1.22%;Severe erosion area decreased by 885.83km~2,area ratio decreased by 0.50%.Based on the remote sensing investigation method and RUSLE model, the results of soil erosion in different grades of soil erosion area and the proportion of the same characteristics: soil erosion intensity is mainly mild erosion and moderate erosion. The micro erosion area is the largest in Guizhou Province, and the area is the smallest,The grades of soil erosion intensity were arranged in order according to the size of the area: mired erosion > mild erosion > moderate erosion > high erosion > very high erosion > extreme erosion, inverted reverse pyramid shape. In most areas of Guizhou Province, the remote sensing investigation and RUSLE model are consistent to the soil erosion intensity grade;erosion judgment inconsistent area mainly concentrated in the west of Guizhou Province, southwestern and northern parts of the region. The regions with different judgments of erosion intensity are mainly concentrated in the west, southwest and northern parts of Guizhou province.(4)The method of dichotomy was used to optimize the results of soil erosion in Guizhou Province Based on remote sensing survey and RUSLE model in 2015.After optimization, the soil erosion area of the whole province was 66156.14km~2,and the soil erosion rate was 37.57%,which was higher than that of the remote sensing survey, which was lower than that of the RUSLE model. The area and proportion of different soil erosion grades: Mired erosion covers an area of 109942.86 km~2,which occupies 62.43% of the total total land area;Mild erosion covers an area of 38504.43 km~2,which occupies 21.87% of the total land area;Moderate erosion covers an area of 18028.73 km~2,which occupies 10.24% of the total land area;High erosion covers an area of 7523.27 km~2,which occupies 4.27% of the total land area;Very high erosion covers an area of 2009.77 km~2,which occupies 1.14% of the total land area;Extreme erosion covers an area of 89.94 km~2,which occupies 0.05% of the total land area.
