The similarity index among different tree species,the pioneer tree species and top tree species was used to calculate the top fitness value of the tree species based on the 598 plots of four mountain series in Changbai Mountain forest area.At the same time,the successional stages were brieflyanalyzed and dividedaccording tothe succession valuewhich were calculated by the top fitness values of the tree species..The main results are as follows:(1)With the increase of the area of the sample,the logarithm of the negative coupling species decreased,the logarithm of the positive pair was increased,and the relationship between the species and the pair changed greatly at the scale of 10 m × 10 m.The scale of 10 m × 10 m could be used as the optimal scale of the relationship between the two trees.(2)The succession value of tree species was calculated by using the similarity index of tree species among young trees(seedlings).The succession value of positive species such as Betula platyphylla,Populus davidiana and Larch was 1,The value of 10,over the tree species in the distribution of 1-10,according to the size of its succession can also be compared from the side of the tree species in the community resistance to negative,stability,update and other characteristics.(3)Whether the succession of Mongolian oak forest to broad-leaved Korean pine forest or the succession of larch,birch and poplar to broad-leaved Korean pine forest,it is reflected that the pioneer tree species are invaded by spring,elm,Qu Liu and other excessive tree species to replace the final formation of Pinus koraiensis,smelly pine and other main coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest trends.(4)The succession stage of community can be divided into four small stages(Early stage,Mid prophase,Mid late,Later period).The first main forest community type is larch forest,Birch forest,mountain poplar forest,and to these tree-based mixed forest.In the middle period,it is a mixed forest of Mongolian oak forest,mixed forest of Mongolian oak and other overgrowth(such as Tilia amurensis).Late for the pine,pine and other dominant species of coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest or pure forest.(5)With the succession,the number of pioneer tree species was opposite to that of the top tree species,and the pioneer tree species were the inverted J-type distribution,the top tree species showed an increasing trend,and the number of excessive tree species was single peak model.
