| In this study,51 provenances of natural sweetgum seed were used as materials to study the geographical variation of seeds from different provenances of sweetgum through seed phenotypic measurement,seed germination characteristics test,seedling period test and leaf color change analysis.The results showed that the variation of leaf components in the leaves of different provenances in the seedling stage of different provenances had laid a theoretical foundation for the provenance selection of Liquidambar formosana.The main experimental results are as follows:(1)Varieties of Liquidambar formosum differed greatly in their phenotypic traits,with most of the variation coming from the provenances.The 1000-seed weight,seed width traits phenotypic differentiation coefficient <50%,mainly within the source variation.The differences among different provenances were significant.The average coefficient of variation of Anfu provenances in Jiangxi Province was the highest,16.73%,while the average coefficient of variation of provenances in Fujian was 11.48%.Most seed phenotypic traits of Liquidambar formosa are random in geographical change,and geographical provenances have no correlation with phenotype.Through the correlation analysis of seed traits and altitude and the observation of seed bodies,the vertical and horizontal distribution of Liquidambar formosana seeds may have a gradual change.(2)There were differences in germination rates between different sweetgum seeds.With the decrease of temperature,the germination rate of Liquidambar formosana decreased significantly.Liquidambar formosum seed germination time is shorter in high temperature environment.Salt concentration increased,sweet gum seed germination rate,germination index and normal seedling rate showed a downward trend.Salt concentration is too high,seed inactivation does not germinate.Shaanxi Ningqiang provenances seeds have high tolerance to low temperature and salt stress.Low temperature and higher salt concentration prolong seed germination to different extents.The effects of salt stress on Liquidambar formosana seedlings were mainly manifested in the destruction of seedling roots,NaCl concentration increased,fibrous roots decreased,the main root gradually necrosis.(3)The coefficient of variation(CV)was more than 10% and the coefficient of variation(CV)was 23.37% at the seedling stage in different provenances of Liquidambar formosana.The variation of seedling traits of Liquidambar formosana mainly came from the provenances.The total chlorophyll,petiole length,width and plant height of seedling leaves gradually decreased from southwest to northeast,and the angle between shape factor and leaf vein showed north-south variation.The aspect ratio of anthocyanins and leaves showed variation.When the European distance D = 36.37,the provenances of Liquidambar formosana were divided into A,B and C,and the mean value of the three groups was 5.23dm> 3.93 dm for B group and 3.13 dm for C group,respectively.(4)Different components of different Liquidambar species seedlings in different stages of seed components in provenance latitude and longitude of the different patterns of variation.Anthocyanin and pH values play a major role in germination when leaves are discolored and discolored.Different sources of leaves the basic components of the content reached the same level in time there is a relationship. |
