Lygus pmtensis is an important pest that Phytophagy and piercing-sucking mouthparts.It is widely distributed in xinjiang,it is a major province of cotton planting in China.Lygus pmtensis has seriously affected the yield and quality of cotton.In this paper,the research object is Lygus pmtensis.Through indoor behavior determination,a preliminary understanding of the lure of different host plants to Lygus pmtensis.The volatile substances of different host plants were identified by GC-MS technique.Finally,the electrophysiological and behavioral measurements were performed by EAG and “Y”type olfactory.The active substances were screened out for Lygus pmtensis.In order to find out the mechanism of olfactory identification of different host plants.To provide theoretical basis for the comprehensive control and prevention and control technology of Lygus pmtensis.The main results are as follows:1 Taxis responses of Lygus pmtensis to different host plants. The selectivity of Lygus pmtensis on Chenopodium glaucum and Kochia prostrata was obviously higher than that of other five kinds plants and,the taxis degree reached significant level.The taxis degree on cotton was obviously higher than on Brassica oleracea,Brassica chinensis and Convolvulus arvense and reached the significant level.There was no obvious difference between the cotton and Alfalfa.A series of studies showed that Lygus pmtensis showed different preferences for different host plants.2 Analysis of volatile substances in 7 host plants of Lygus pmtensis. 31 kinds of information compounds were detected in 7 species of the host plant of Lygus pmtensis.Among them,there were significant differences in the types of information compounds identified by the seven host plants.Chenopodium glaucum identified the most types of compounds,nine.And then there's the tomato,there are eight.Chenopodium serotinum L.and Brassica campestris L.ssp.chinensis Makino var.communis Tsen et Lee are the least,have five.There are six kinds of Kochiaprostrata(L.)Schrad,Brassica oleracea L.var.botrytis L and Convolvulus arvensis L.Among the compounds identified,alkane and esters were the most,each with nine species.Then there are five terpenes;There are 4 kinds of alcohols,2 kinds of aldehydes,1 kinds of ketones and phenols.There are six kinds of quinoa and cabbages.Among the seven host plants.Dodecane has been found in Chenopodium glaucum,Brassica oleracea L.var.botrytis L,Convolvulus arvensis L.,Brassica campestris L.ssp.chinensis Makino var.communis Tsen et Lee.All three plants are included 3-Hexen-1-ol,acetate,(Z)-,Tetratetracontane,Copaene.1-Hexanol,2-ethyl-,Nonanal, 1(3H)-Isobenzofuranone,6-(dimethylamino)-3,3-bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]-,Caryophyllene,Heptacosane were found in two different plants.The remaining volatile compounds are unique to the host plants.Even host plants with the same compound have different relative content in their host plants.3 EAG responses and taxis selection of Lygus pmtensis to volatiles from different host plants Measured by EAG,the relative value of EAG was the highest in Nonanal,the relative value of EAG was the lowest in 1(3H)-Isobenzofuranone,6-(dimethylamino)-3,3-bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]-.The relative value of EAG response of female insect to these compounds was: Nonanal>1,6,10-Dodecatriene,7,11-dimethyl-3-methylene-,(E)-> Copaene >Caryophyllene >3-Hexen-1-ol,acetate,(Z)-> Butylated Hydroxytoluene > Dibutyl phthalate >1-Hexanol,2-ethyl >1(3H)-Isobenzofuranone,6-(dimethylamino)-3,3-bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]-.The relative value of EAG response of male insect to these compounds was: Nonanal> Copaene > 1,6,10-Dodecatriene,7,11-dimethyl-3-methylene-,(E)->Caryophyllene> Butylated Hydroxytoluene > Dibutyl phthalate >1-Hexanol,2-ethyl >3-Hexen-1-ol,acetate,(Z)->1(3H)-Isobenzofuranone,6-(dimethylamino)-3,3-bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]-.Through indoor behavior determination,the results show that the adult male and female in the same compounds,different concentrations of temptation is inverted "V" type,and generally volatile substances temptation of females were significantly higher than male.This study from the physiological and behavioral aspects of 9 pasture species blind Lygus pmtensis host plant volatiles are studied,proved the Nonanal,1,6,10-Dodecatriene,7,11-dimethyl-3-methylene-,(E)-, Copaene,Caryophyllene,3-Hexen-1-ol,acetate,(Z)-on the allure of Lygus pmtensis,such as Nonanal of luring effect is best.
