| In order to investigate the toxicity of stannous chloride on liver of chicks.we researched the main pathological damage on lievr of yellow-feathered broilers induced by stannous chloride in this paper.We choosed 200 healthy young broilers at one day of age,which their body weight is 40.2 ± 1.04 g.Thebroilers were divided into 4 groups randomly with 50 each.The broilers in control group were fed with corn soybean meal basal diet,and the test groups were added high tin in the diet respectively for 42 days,400 mg/kg,800mg/kg,1 200 mg/kg,with free access to water.7 days,14 days,21 days,28 days,35 days and 42 days during the test,pathological changes of broilers liver compared with the control group were observed by clinical observation,experimental pathology,flow cytometry,oxidative damage and ELISA.The results are as follows.1.Compared with the control group,the volume and weight of the liver in high tin broilers were decreased.Histopathological observation showed that hepatocyte swelling,granular degeneration,necrosis and proliferation in local hepatocytes.2.The activities of SOD,CAT and GSH in the liver of the high tin group broilers were decreased significantly(P<0.05 or P<0.01),however,the contents of MDAwere increased markedtly(P<0.05 or P<0.01).3.The total protein(TP)and total cholesterol(TC)in high Tin Group broilers had no significant change.While alkaline phosphatase(AKP),alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)activities were significantly increased compared with the control group(P<0.05 or P< 0.01).4.The contents of immunoglobulin(IgM,IgG)in the serum of the high tin group broilers were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05),The contents of immunoglobulin(IgA)had no significant change.5.The apoptosis rate of liver cells in broilers of the high tin group were significantly higher compred with the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).The addition of stannous chloride 400mg/kg and above in diets of broiler can cause liver oxidative damage and immune function decreased.And the weight and liver development of broilers were blocked,the liver cell apoptosis and serum enzyme activities(AST,ALT,AKP)were increased.Hepatocyte apoptosis and oxidative damage are the pathological basis and the direct cause of liver damage. |
