Silage corn in livestock production in China plays a more and more important role.Silage corn planting area of 4.5 million hm2 in C hina in 2007,15%20%of the total area of corn,is expected to feed corn in C hina will be more than 89.5%in 2020.However,silage corn cultivation technology in C hina is still the problem of the development of silage.This study is about silage corn cultivation techniques?varieties,sowing date,planting density,fertilization?in north Xinjiang.Below are the main results in this thesis:1.Silage corn varieties screening in north Xinjiang were studied.The results showed that Xinyu 9 had the highest biological yield(7.05 t hm-2)and protein content?7.4%?in the 20 silage corn varieties.As a result,the comprehensive analysis of biological yield and agronomic traits,Xinyu 9 performed very well in the testing varieties,has good application value.2.Effect of different sowing time on silage maize growth and yield were studied.The results showed that the silage maize sowing date will be either early or late impact on dry matter accumulation rate and product quality,limit of silage corn yield and quality.Set five sowing times,the suitable sowing?July 8,July 15?can fully coordinate the relationship between vegetative and reproductive growth of corn,to maintain a relatively high matter accumulation rate,promote the synthesis and accumulation of material,the highest output levels.In sowing time is July 15 treatment,the corn grain starch content and total nutrients content is highest.Therefore,timely planting for the synthesis and accumulation of nutrients is of great significance.Under this experimental condition,the silage corn suitable sowing date on July 8-15 in north Xinjiang.3.Effect of different planting density on silage maize growth and yield were studied.The results showed that the leaf area index of silage corn significantly increased with the increase of planting density.LAI under different treatment as the reproductive period is unimodal curve change trend.O n density of 7-13.5 ten thousand plants hm-2 range,the yield is unimodal curve change tre nd.In the density of 10.5 ten thousand plants hm-2,silage corn LAI,number of ears and weight are appropriate,and yield of dry matter and quality are better.4.Effect of different fertilizer proportion on the silage maize growth,quality and yield were studied.The results showed that with the silage maize fertilizer rate increases,stem diameter,leaves number,ear length,bald tip length,empty stalk rate increased.The change of the fertilizer rate of silage maize had a little influence on plant height,ear position,total leaf number.Silage corn is sensitive to nitrogen,yield significantly increased with the nitrogen increased.Therefore,choose nitrogen application of 468 kg hm-2,phosphate fertilizer234 kg hm-2,potash fertilizer 110 kg hm-2,can achieve maximum economic benefits in north Xinjiang.
