China has the widest range of facilities for tomato cultivation,and the disposal and incineration of large quantities of tomato straw has caused serious waste of resources and environmental pollution.Agricultural solid waste can kill pathogenic bacteria through composting,decompose residual hazardous substances,use compost products as organic fertilizers,replace chemical fertilizers such as chemical fertilizers,and achieve organic production of crops.It is an effective method for utilizing agricultural solid waste.The organic fertilizer made from composted tomato straw can effectively improve soil physical and chemical properties and biological activity,but its effect on tomato growth is not clear.This study was divided into two parts to explore the recycling of tomato straw compost products.One part was based on 100% garden soil.The ratio of composted product of tomato straw and garden soil was 5%(T1),7.5%(T2),10%(T3),12.5%(T4),and 15%(T5)were the experimental treatments.Pot experiments were conducted to determine the growth indexes,physiological indexes,yields and fruit flavors of tomato plants treated with different compounding ratios.Quality indicators,to explore the feasibility of the recycling of tomato straw and as the most suitable ratio of organic fertilizer.The second part uses corn straw(nitrogen source)and sheep manure(nitrogen and carbon)as additives,three compost products(tomato straw + sheep manure compost,tomato straw compost and tomato straw + corn stover compost)and 5%,10 % and 15% of the three ratios were completely randomized.Through the comparison analysis of tomato growth and physiological indicators,fruit yield and quality indicators,explore the feasibility of tomato straw compost additive use and tomato growth and development.The main research results of the impact of yield and quality are as follows:1.Tomato straw compost products can be used as organic fertilizer to promote tomato growth and development.The results showed that tomato straw waste was recycled after composting;tomato plant height,leaf number and leaf area were higher than 7.5%,and the plant height and number of leaves and control group The difference reached a significant level,stems were roughly lower than the control,but there was no significant difference.The net photosynthetic rate and stomatal conductance were significantly higher than the control.Thisindicated that planting tomato at a compounding ratio of 7.5% under the experimental conditions had the best effect on promoting the growth of tomato and enhancing the plant photosynthesis ability.2.Tomato straw compost product can be used as organic fertilizer to improve tomato yield and nutritional quality.Compared with the control(100% garden soil),the yields of tomato fruits treated with tomato straw compost increased to varying degrees.The treatment with a blend ratio of 7.5% produced more significant yields;the use of compost products to treat soluble protein and The contents of vitamin C,etc.have been significantly increased,indicating that tomato straw can be significantly increased in tomato cultivation by composting,and fruit quality can be effectively improved.3.Tomato straw compost products as organic fertilizer can improve tomato flavor quality.The solid-phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)technique was used to quantitatively determine the differences of volatile components and contents of tomato fruits treated with different compounding ratios.The results showed that applying tomato straw compost products as organic fertilizer can effectively improve the fruit of tomato.The type and content of volatile substances,the test detected a total of 61 volatile substances,including 10 tomato characteristic effect compounds.The difference in the volatile content of tomato fruits is mainly reflected in aldehydes and alcohols.The content of volatile matter and characteristic aroma substances in the treated fruits of the tomato planted with a blending ratio of 15% were significantly increased,and the aroma was rich,and the flavor quality was improved.4.Different compost additives have different effects on the composting efficiency of tomato straw.The results showed that the plant height,stem diameter,and leaf number of the treated tomato compost composted with 10% compounded straw were significantly increased by 66.07%,11.20%,and 36.80%,respectively,compared with the control,and the yield was significantly increased.At the same time,the content of soluble solids,titratable acid and soluble protein in tomato fruits can be increased,thereby effectively improving tomato quality.It shows that the compost additive has some influence on the application of the waste of tomato straw,but the results show that the additives can be used for the cultivation of tomato.
