Objective:In order to improve the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of angina pectoris of coronary heart disease, literatures on the treatment of this disease in recent 10 years were widely collected systemly and analyzed statistically to inspect the routine used acupoints of acupuncture treatment for angina pectoris of coronary heart disease(chest stuffiness and pains). The efficacy of selected acupoints combined with medication, routine acupoints with medecatiom and simply using of drug therapy in the treatment of angina pectoris of coronary heart disease are obviously compared and statistically analyzed. Methods:This study adopted prospective and randomized controlled method, and 90 patients with angina pectoris of coronary heart disease were incorporated and randomly divided into statistical analysis screening acupoints + western medicine group(treatment group T)for 30 cases, conventional acupoints + western medicine group(control group A)for 30 cases and simple western medicine group(control group B)for 30 cases.According to the treatment group T treated with acupuncture integrated with oral Western Medicine, and acupoints are as follows,Neiguan(PC 6),Danzhong(CV 17),Juque(CV 14),Yinxi(HT 6),Ximen(PC 4).Based on the data mining from 2003-2013 of acupuncture treatment of coronary heart disease, commonly used acupoints selected by statistical analysis, patients should be treated for a duration of two courses, and treatment times/ day for seven consecutive times for a course, once a day, rest one day between the two courses. The control group A was treated by acupuncture combined with western medicine, and Neiguan(PC 6),Danzhong(CV 17),Juque(CV 14),Yinxi(HT 6),Ximen(PC 4)was selected as acupoint according to the editor in chief of Wang Qicai of new century(Second Edition)of the higher Chinese medicine colleges and universities planning materials —— <Subject of acupuncture and moxibustion theraphy> "PP.277-278" angina "use of acupoints.Patients are treated for a duration of two courses.Treatment times/ day for seven consecutive times for a course, once a day, rest one day between the two courses.Simple western medicine group was treated with western medicine only, and no acupuncture treatment was given. The dynamic electrocardiogram(Holter)index of 24 hours, the Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ)score and TCM symptom score in each three groups of patients before and after treatment were observed and the efficacy was compared. Results: Comparison between groups after treatment:(1)24 hour dynamic electrocardiogram(Holter)index: The attack times, seizure time and load values in the treatment group T were lower than those in the control group A(P < 0.05),while the control group A was lower than the control group B(P < 0.05).(2)the Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ)score: In the treatment group T,the anginal stability scale(AS),the angina frequency scale(AF)and treatment satisfaction scale(TS)were higher than those in the control group A(P < 0.05),while the control group A was higher than the control group B(P < 0.05);The level of the physical limitation(PL)and the disease perception scale(DS)in the treatment group T was comparable to that of the control group A(mean P > 0.05),and the treatment group ATand control group A were all higher than those in the control group B(P < 0.05).(3)TCM symptom score: The treatment group T was lower than the control group A(P < 0.05),while the control group A was lower than that of control group B(P < 0.05).(4)Curative effect of angina pectoris: The treatment groupT was better than that of the control group A(P < 0.05),while the control group A was better than that of the control group B(P < 0.05).Comparison in the groups after treatment: TCM symptom score,Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ)score and 24 hours dynamic electrocardiogram(Holter)index of the treatment group T,control group A and control group B after treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment(P < 0.001).Conclusion: The effect of acupuncture combined with western medicine is superior than simple western medicine therapy. And the selective acupoints are more effective than routine acupoints based on the statistical analysis, which optimize the clinical acupoints selection program, which can more effectively improve the myocardial ischemia and the quality of life of the patiants.
