Efficacy Of Kangfuxin Liquid In Treatment Of Dermatitis And Eczema

Background: Dermatitis and eczema are the most common diseases in clinical dermatology,within persistent refractory periods and recurrence.The causes of dermatitis and eczema are varied,difficult to find,thus increasing the difficulty of treatment.Modern medicine is not sufficiently aware of the cause of dermatitis and eczema,they generally believed that its pathogenesis is mainly caused by complex internal and external factors to stimulate a delayed type hypersensitivity.In terms of treatment,we currently lack specific medicine,the existing Western medicine can only treat symptomatically and relieve the symptoms momentarily,and side effects are relatively large.Hence the major of the side effects can not be tolerated.Glucocorticoid ointment was used as a topical ointment,which can diminish inflammation,relieve itching and reduce seepage quickly,but it is easy to relapse.Besides,long-term usage of glucocorticoid ointment can be prone to many side effects,such as atrophy,telangiectasis and so on.From the study of modern Chinese medicine for eczema and dermatitis dermatosis,traditional Chinese medicine plays a good role in relieving symptoms,and has fewer adverse reactions,but the process is tedious and the course of treatment is much longer,which is not easy to be accepted by patients.Therefore,in the treatment of eczema and dermatitis,in order to minimize glucocorticoid application time,reduce the incidence of adverse reactions,and achieve a therapeutic effect,we advocate Integrative Medicine.Objective: To investigate the Chinese patent medicine Kangfuxin liquid in the clinical efficacy of dermatitis and eczema diseases and to compare it with the normal saline and to demonstrate the effectiveness and security of Kangfuxin liquid.Providing clinical reference for combination of Chinese traditional and Western medicine in treating dermatitis and eczema,and having a deeper understanding of these diseases,and further shorten the course,reduce the side effects.With a view to provide new ideas,new directions for clinical,theoretical and experimental studies.Method: 1.Using epidemiological investigation,we collected 36 cases of clinical data of patients with dermatosis like dermatitis and eczema from August 2014 toJanuary 2016 of the dermatology inpatient department.2.The observation group of 24 patients within the 36 cases.Basic treatment and soaking of the lesions partially by Kangfuxin liquid for 20 minutes,every morning and evening.The control group of 12 patients within the 36 cases.Basic treatment and soaking of the lesions partially by normal saline for 20 minutes,every morning and evening.3.Photographs of the local lesions were taken on 36 patients in which gradual improvement was noticed.EASI scores before and after treatment was done.Effective rate calculated,comparatively analyze the efficacy of Kangfuxin liquid and normal saline.Results: 36 patients of dermatitis and eczema were observed,where 24 cases of the observation group were cured in 3 cases(13%),remarkable in 18 cases(75%),effective in 2 cases(8%),invalid in 1 patient(4%);total effective rate is 87.5%.The control group of 12 cases,recovery 1(8%),remarkable in 7 cases(59%),effective in 3cases(25%),invalid in 1 patient(8%),the total effective rate is 66.67%.After statistical analysis,the total efficiency of the two groups was statistically significant(t= 3.6,P <0.01).In summary,Kangfuxin liquid and normal saline can both improve the symptoms of dermatitis and eczema significantly.Under the same treatment,Kangfuxin liquid remains more effectively in recovering dermatitis and eczema.Conclusion: The efficacy of Kangfuxin liquid to dermatitis and eczema type is definite,there is an excellent improvement of their main clinical symptoms,and reduce the long-term use of conventional glucocorticoid side effects for external usage in dermatitis and eczema,and reduce recurrence rate,as well.Providing treatment basis of the integration of Chinese and Western medicine for dermatitis and eczema.
