Clinical Study On The Effect Of Immune Cells By Yi Qi San Jie Fang After Chemotherapy In Patients With Advanced NSCLC Of Qi Yin Deficiency

1 Objective By comparing the change of peripheral immune cells before and after the treatment of Yi qi San jie Fang combined with chemotherapy,or chemotherapy alone,to discuss the effect of chemotherapy on immune cells of patients,who were advanced NSCLC of Qi Yin deficiency. Discuss the function of Yi qi San jie Fang in patients,immunity after chemotherapy. Observe the CEA and Karnofsky of two groups before and after treatment,and also the degree of nausea and vomiting during two cycle,in order to provide the basis for implementing of Chinese and Western Integrative Medicine.2 Methods56 patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group. Control group treated with common chemotherapy(TP ? NP ? PP or pemetrexed plus cisplatin/carboplatin),3 weeks for a cycle, the observation time is two cycles.Add Yi qi San jie Fang to the observation group on the basis of the control group in the beginning of chemotherapy,100 ml each time after a meal, 2 times a day for two weeks.Two groups of patients were using tropisetron as the Antemetic.Detecting the observation index before the first chemotherapy periods and after the second.3 Results( 1) Comparison of the two groups on immunity index:The control group after treatment with the level of CD3+? CD4 + ? NK cell and the ratio of CD4 + / CD8 +reduced(P<0.01), CD8+ cells raised(P<0.05) compared with before treatment.Observation group after treatment with the level of CD3 + ?CD4 + T ?NK cell and the ratio of CD4 + / CD8 + raised(P< 0.01), CD8 + cells reduced(P< 0.05)compared with before treatment.(2)Comparison of the two groups on Karnofsky:compared with before treatment,the Karnofsky of control group has no obvious change,but the Karnofsky of observation group is increased,P<0.01.The Karnofsky after treatment of observation group is higher than the control group, P< 0.01, the difference is highly significant;(3)Comparison of the two groups on the degree of nausea and vomit:during the two cycles of chemotherapy,the degree of observation group was lower than the control group,P< 0.05, it has significant in statistics.(4)Comparison of the two groups on the change of CEA:the CEA was reduced in both of two groups,P<0.05,which has significant in statistics;but there is no difference on the degree of reducing the CEA.4 ConclusionChemotherapy can inhibit the immune function of the patients,who were advanced NSCLC of Qi Yin deficiency.but Yi qi San jie Fang can improve the immunity of these patients after Chemotherapy. Moreover,Yi qi San jie Fang can reduce the degree of nausea and vomit caused by chemotherapy, enhance Karnofsky Performance Status, but there is no difference on the effect of reducing the CEA between two groups.
