The Clinical Study Of Abdominal Acupuncture Combined With Atorvastatin Calcium In The Treatment Of Carotid Artery Artery Atherosclerosis

ObjectiveTo systematically observe the intervention of abdominal acupuncture combined with atorvastatin calcium statins on carotid atherosclerosis,and to explore the mechanism of action,as well as provide the basis for the search the effective treatment by the traditional and western medicine for anti-atherosclerosis and stable plaque,so as to enrich the prevention content of stroke in the first and the second stage.Methods90 patients with carotid atherosclerosis were selected,and randomly divided into the observation group(abdominal acupuncture combined with atorvastatin calcium group)and the 1st control group(simple abdominal acupuncture group)and the 2nd control group(atorvastatin calcium alone group).The observation group were given atorvastatin calcium combined with abdominal acupuncture treatment,the 1st control group received acupuncture alone,the 2nd control group was given atorvastatin calcium therapy alone,the treatment lasted for 60 days.The efficacy was assessed by detecting the hemorheology and biochemistry before and after treatment,as well as the carotid IMT,plaque area and others.ResultsAll the three treatment methods can improve clinical symptoms in varying degrees.Abdominal acupuncture combined with atorvastatin calcium treatment can significantly reduce carotid IMT,plaque area,improve hemorheological indexes,significantly reduce blood TG,CHOL,LDL,while improve clinical symptoms,the efficacy was better than abdominal acupuncture lone group and atorvastatin calcium alone group,The effect of abdominal acupuncture alone group before and after treatment was not obvious,but the patient'satisfaction was better than the atorvastatin calcium alone group.ConclusionAbdominal acupuncture combined with atorvastatin calcium can be effective in reducing carotid IMT,plaque area,improve blood rheology,blood biochemistry,while improve clinical symptoms,with strong anti-atherosclerosis effect.Abdominal acupuncture can reduce the side effects of drugs,increased patients' satisfaction,with a complementary role,synergistic effect and preventive effect,which was worthy of promotion in clinical.
