Research background:Salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma is a common malignant tumor of oral and maxillofacial region, jaws is one of the good location. Its invasive is strong, has the growth speed is slow, poor long-term high recurrence rate and long-term survival unique biological behaviour.Bring great difficulties to the clinical treatment. Research and its occurrence and development of related factors, and to find new treatments, reduce the recurrence rate after treatment, improve the long-term survival rate is of great significance.Objective:Through the detection of MMP- 7 in the jaws, VEGF- A salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma expression in the organization, and analyzes its jaws and salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma of the correlation between clinical pathological features, explore MMP- 7 in the jaws,VEGF- A salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma tissues, the mechanism of occurrence,development and transfer for the utilization of MMP- 7, VEGF- A jaws salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma gene therapy to provide related basis.Methods:Jaws in 58 cases salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma(paraffin specimens and 10 cases of normal palatal salivary gland tissue samples, using immunohistochemical Envision method to detect MMP- 7 and VEGF- A protein in the jaws of salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma and normal jaws salivary gland expression levels in the organization, and the test results and the clinical features of patients with correlation analysis. All data are conducted using SPSS17.0statistical analysis, using the chi-square(x2) test, P < 0.05 for the difference by the significant significance. And use the spearman correlation analysis test MMP- 7 in the jaws, VEGF- A salivary gland adenoid table carcinoma in the expression of correlation.Results:1. 58 cases of palatal salivary gland adenoid in table carcinoma specimens, 44 cases of MMP- 7 positive expression, expression rate is 75.9%(44/58), mainly located in cytoplasm, yellow or tan granular material, are widely distributed, 10 cases of normal jaws no positive expression in thesalivary gland tissue, the positive expression rate of 0%(0/10), between the compared with significant difference(P < 0.05)2. 58 cases of palatal salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma specimens in 43 cases of VEGF- A positive expression rate of 74.1%(23/30), located in cytoplasm/cell membranes, see more at the new form of vascular endothelium, yellow or tan, the tumor edge of the oven for dyeing the most densely populated area. Significantly higher than the normal salivary gland tissue within the positive expression rate of 10%(1/10), between the two significant statistical significance(P <0.05).3. MMP- 7 in jaws and VEGF- A salivary gland adenoid cystic organization has high expression, and tumor pathology classification, neural invasion and clinical stage(P < 0.05), has nothing to do with the patients’ age, sex, classification(P > 0.05).4. MMP- 7 on the jaws with VEGF- A salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma of the expression was positively correlation(r = 0.667, P < 0.05).Conclusion:1. MMP- 7 in jaws in salivary gland adenoid cystic organization has high expression, and tumor pathology classification, neural invasion and clinical stage. MMP- 7 May promote the development and metastasis, and may play an important role.2. VEGF- A jaws in salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma tissues has high expression, and tumor pathology classification, nerve infiltration and closely related to clinical stages, can be used as judgment jaws salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma of the biological behavior of one of the important indexes.3. MMP- 7 on the jaws with VEGF- A salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma in the expression was positively correlation, prompt MMP- 7 and VEGF- A might by acting on tumor blood vessels and jointly promote the salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma of the occurrence,development and invasion and metastasis. |
