Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of ChuYouDecoction in treatment of verruca plana blood stasis,and study efficacy of ChuYouDecoction on peripheral T lymphocyte subsets and IL-2 levels in patients with verruca plana.Methods: 60 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups. In treatment group, ChuYouDecoction was also for oral and topical use. In control group, pidotimod (wan shining) was for oral use, and recombinant human interferonα-2b gel (You Jingan)was for topical application. A course of treatment covers seven days, and each efficacy was assessed after six courses of treatment.To assess the effect of ChuYouDecoction on cellular immune function of patients,the level of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets and IL-2 was detected before and after six courses of treatment. Also the data was collected in 20 healthy people for contrast.Results: The verruca plana treatment, cure rate and total effective rate was 75.00% and 93.75%, significantly better than the treatment group, 35.71% and 75.00%, the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05); treatment of the first twogroup of peripheral CD4~+, CD4~+/ CD8~+ratio and IL-2 were significantly lower than normal levels, CD8~+ above normal levels after treatment CD8~+ levels in the other were significantly higher (P <0.01), the two groups was statistically significance (P <0.05).Conclusion: ChuYouDecoction has better efficacy and less side effects also for oral and topical use. After treatment,The level of peripheral CD4~+, CD8~+, CD4~+/ CD8~+ ratio and IL-2 was significantly elevated,and the immune function of patients was enhanced.
