Joint arthroplasty has become the main treatment for the terminal stage of it with the general increase of osteoarthritis. The nano-tribology in mechanical engineering lubrication was introduced into the lubrication of artificial joint in order to solve the problem of premature failure caused by insufficient lubrication. We carried out the research of nanoparticles with good biocompatibility as artificial joint lubricant additives systematically.In the text, we prepared three blank nanoparticles using bovine serum albumin, hydrogenated soy phosphatidylcholine and dopamine by different methods. DLS measured the hydrate particle size of nanoparticles; TEM observed the morphology of nanoparticles; In addition,we examined the stability of the three kinds of particles in vitro. In order to alleviate the symptoms of inflammation of OA, we used Triamcinolone Acetonide with strong anti-inflammatory as the model drug and prepared drug loaded nanoparticles TA-BSA-NP utilizing desolvation. UV determined the detection wavelength of TA and the drug loading; Finally,we investigated the drug release behavior in vitro.After characterizing the nanoparticles preliminarily, we made up several bionic lubricants using HA and nanoparticles mixture, then their tribological properties were investigated. First, we measured the dynamic viscosity and investigated the frictional coefficient of ZrO2 ceramic couples under different condition of lubrication; Next, we explored resist wear, the rheological performance and the friction acoustic; Finally, we investigate the cytotoxicity by the MTT experiment and tested the concentration changes of two kinds of inflammatory cytokines of IF-1? and TNF-? using the ELASA kit.The results showed that the nanoparticles possess smaller size and rule spherical appearance; The addition of nanoparticles can obviously increase the viscosity of HA solution; HA+BSA-NP has the notable performance of reduce friction and abrasion; Nanoparticles additive improve the rheology properties of HA solution at a extent; Both of blank HA solution and bionic lubricants have no cytotoxicity with good biocompatibility. Drug loaded bionic lubricants own a certain inhibitory effect on inflammatory factors.
