The Influence Of Balloon Dilatation Of The Inferior Vena Cava On Hepatic Fibrosis Induced By Budd-Chiari Syndrome

ObjectiveTo investigate the changes of serum indexes of hepatic fibrosis such as hyaluronic acid, type ?collagen, type ? procollagen, laminin protein, and its significance of patients on Budd-Chiari syndrome with inferior vena cava occlusion after balloon dilatation of the inferior vena cava. Methods1. Research group: 26 inpatients were rolled, who were diagnosed with B-CS with inferior vena cava occlusion in the First Affiliated Hospitals of Zhengzhou University during January 2015 to December 2015. According to the type of obstruction, research group were divided into ?C type groups(simple obstruction of inferior vena cava) 9 cases and mixed type group(both hepatic veins and inferior vena cava were obstruction) 17 cases. Control group: 20 healthy controls in the Physical Examination Center of the First Affiliated Hospitals of Zhengzhou University during the same period.2.In research group, with the treatment of balloon dilatation of the inferior vena cava and the inferior vena cava were unobstructed on postoperative period, control group without any treatment. Collected peripheral blood specimensof patients from control group before operation and experiment group before operation and the first, third, and sixth months after operation. Peripheral blood specimens were detected the serum indexes of hepatic fibrosis, such as hyaluronic acid, type ?collagen, type ? procollagen, laminin protein.3.Statistical analysis was executed by SPSS 17.0 software, ? value less than 0.05 was considered as significance. Compare the serum indexes of hepatic fibrosis between research group and control group, and between preoperative and postoperative of research group. Results1. The preoperative serum indexes of hepatic fibrosis, hyaluronic acid, type ?collagen, type ? procollagen,laminin protein, of ?C type groups and mixed type group both are significantly higher than persons of control group. The difference between groups is statistically significant(P < 0.05);2. After the ?C type groups and mixed type group accept treatment of balloon dilatation of the inferior vena cava, in the first month after operation, the serum indexes of hepatic fibrosis between preoperative and postoperative are similar, the difference between two groups is not statistically significant(P>0.05). Compare the serum indexes of hepatic fibrosis of the third month and first month after operation, sixth month and third month after operation, the serum indexes of hepatic fibrosis are significantly decreased, the difference between groups is statistically significant(P < 0.05); Conclusions1. There is a certain degree of hepatic fibrosis on patients with Budd-Chiari syndrome.2. The hepatic fibrosis of patients with Budd-Chiari syndrome can be improved obviously after releasing the obstruction of the hepatic blood outflow tract.
