Background: Budd-Chiari syndrome was a major disease of vascular surgery, the causehas not yet been clear. The document of the animal models were few reported. Currentlythere is no literature produced by successful endovascular interventional occlusion ofinferior vena cava Budd-Chiari syndrome model type reported. Objective: The purpose of this study is to better investigate the type of inferior venacava obstruction in Budd-Chiari syndrome, pathogenesis and treatment. Use of imagingtechniques and vascular intervention means produced in dogs on the type of inferiorvena cava obstruction in Budd-Chiari syndrome in animal models. Methods: Use of endovascular interventions will be designed and produced with theself-made diaphragm stent means through the femoral vein after delivery to the livercanine inferior vena cava. Inferior vena cava led to mechanical obstruction of bloodflow slowed down or interrupted blood flow, leading to hepatic vein and inferior venacava blood flow blocked, the establishment of the inferior vena cava obstruction-typeanimal model of Budd-Chiari syndrome. Parallel abdominal circumference, hepatic vein, portal vein, inferior vena cava diameter and inferior vena cava pressure, liver function, blood testing and other related indicators, and related organ pathology. Results: Experimental group1died,9patients survived. Number of cases haveoccurred survival of abdominal varices, abdominal circumference increased congestionand enlargement of liver and spleen, varying degrees of ascites, bowel edema,6patientshad esophageal varices, survival of9patients with hepatic vein, portal vein, inferiorvena cava were different degrees of expansion (P<0.05), Inferior vena cava(IVC)pressure was significantly elevated (P<0.05), ALT was significantly increased (P<0.05),blood was no significant change (P>0.05). Congestion of liver pathology of the liver tissue edema, and fibrous connective tissue proliferation, fibrosis. The control group, nosignificant changes in indicators (P>0.05).Conclusions: The inferior vena cava obstruction-type animal model of Budd-Chiarisyndrome by using percutaneous endovascular techniques, the operation is simple, animal micro trauma, the survival rate high, to be good human nature, the model withhigh success rate and relatively short cycle model should be promotion.
