Objective: To explore a new bacterial culture methods of prostate fluid samples and the etiology and pathogen of patients with chronic prostatitis;Analysis of bacterial culture and drug sensitivity results of prostate fluid samples, and what’s more, We offer another way for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic prostatitis,Methods: 396 cases of chronic prostatitis patients who met the inclusion criteria were collected from June 2015 to December 2005 in the Clinic.Improved four-glass test was conducted in the 396 cases of chronic prostatitis patients,All patients’ Voided bladder one,Voided bladder two,expressed prostatic secretion and post prostatic massage urine,semen were collected for bacterial culture and drug sensitivity test in the Bacteriology Room.All patients were asked to fill in the NIH-CPSI.Results: In all 396 cases of chronic prostatitis patients,258 of them showed positive result in pathogenic microorganism culture, the positive rate was 65.16%; we got Candida albicans in one of the patients’ prostatic secretion and semen,All the rest were bacteria.we got 333 bacterial strains in 238 patients’ prostatic secretion, and we got 207 bacterial strains in 161 patients’ semen,what’s more,all bacterias were mainly gram positive bacteria,accounting for 83.18% and 80.66% respectively.Drug sensitivity results from the Gram-positive coccu showed the sensitivity rate to Quinupristin-Dalfopristin,Vancomycin and Tigecycline is 100%, but the durg resistance rate to Penicillin,Erythromycin,Oxacillin,Levofloxacinrate is relatively high.Drug sensitivity results from the Gram-negative bacilli showed the sensitivity rate to Linezolid,Vancomycin Ertapenen and Imipenem is 100%, but the durg resistance rate to penicillin,erythromycin,levofloxacinrate is also relatively high.Drug sensitivity results from other bacteria showed they were resistance to common antibiotics in different extent.Conclusion: Improved four-glass test is a reliable diagnostic method for pathogenic microorganisms of chronic prostatitis and can improve the bacterial detection rate of patients with chronic prostatitis,it is worthy of clinical application.Gram-positive Staphylococcus occupy a large proportion in the pathogenesis of chronic prostatitis, The pathogenic microorganisms in semen of chronic prostatitis patients are mainly gram positive bacteria.The pathogenic microorganisms in prostatic secretion and semen have high consistency, This also confirmed the diagnosis of chronic prostate-vesiculitis is rationality.The WBC count in prostatic fluid of patients with chronic prostatitis has a certain correlation with the positive rate of bacterial culture. The pathogenic microorganisms in prostatic secretion and semen are mainly a kind of bacteria,Mixed infection also occupies a certain proportion.Moreover,These bacteria are highly resistant to conventional antibiotics,Therefore,Doctors should pay attention to combination antibiotics and the combination of Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of patients with chronic prostatitis, and strictly comply with the using indication of antibiotics.
