Objective:The evaluation quantitative of correction nasolabial folds with two brands (MeiRui and Rayland) HA (hyaluronic acid) using facial three-dimensional (3D) scanning technology. Summarizing the results to observe and compare the rules and differences.Methods:In the experience, we chose30 cases(28 females,2 males) whose nasolabial folds scored 3 points or 4 points. Divided them into two groups randomly. The Rayland group has 15 people,whose nasolabial folds were filled by the hyaluronic acid from Rayland.The MeiRui (15cases) group got the correction on the same area with the hyaluronic acid from MeiRui. In the 6-month follow-up,we took the 3D pictures with VTOP scanner at five timepoints,20mintues?one week?one month?three months?six months after the injection, and the preoperative 3D images are used as the base for the later comparison. Using the Geomagic Qualify 13.0 software to calculate the volume change at different time, summarize the regulation and compare the differences between the two kinds of HA.The result:1. Adverse reaction and the complication:the whole cases were 30,and 25 people have no obvious side effects.3 females had little pain and tumidness, all disappeared in a week.2 females had the local bruise, recovered in a week after hot compress. No subject appeared serious or late allergic reactions.2. GAIS results, Rayland group:20minutes?one week?one month?three months?six months after the injection, the efficiency rates(excluded the deteriorative and void cases) are 100%? 93.3%?83.3%?90%?80% respectively. MeiRui group:100%?100%?93.3%?83.3%? 76.7%. It showed that these two kinds of HA have long and stable efficiency.3. Calculate the efficiency rates using the facial scanning technology. Rayland group:the average efficiency rate on each time point are 0.678?0.729?0.578?0.542?0.466 respectively. MeiRui group:the average efficiency rates are 0.486?0.619?0.695?0.519?0.470. Statistical analysis results showed that different time points have obvious effect on the efficiency rates and the results are not all the same.4. Rayland group:the best efficiency rate is one week after the injection, the correction effect decreased then. MeiRui group:the efficiency rate decreased after a little rise at one month. The effects between two groups do not have much variance except the time point 20 minutes after the injection.In conclusion:1. Rayland and MeiRui HA all have good?stable and safe effects on correcting nasolabial folds. The effects varies with time. The long-term effects of the two kinds of HA are the same.2. This study established a new method with3D scanning technology for face, focusing on the clinical problems. The method is easy and efficient.
