Clinical Study On Xiaoaiping Injection Combined With GP Regimen In The Treatment Of Patients With Advanced Squmous Cell Lung Cancer

Objective To study the short-term efficacies,physical state,quality of life and adverse reactions of Xiaoaiping injection combined with GP regimen chemotherapy (gemcitabine combined with cisplatin) in the treatment of advanced squamous cell lung carcinoma. Thus to explore better application of the traditional Chinese medicine combined with chemotherapy in patients with advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the lung.Methods Sixty patients with advanced squamous cell lung cancer complied with standards were randomly divided into two groups.The patients in two groups both accepted GP regimen chemotherapy(gemcitabine 1000mg/m2, ivdrip,d1&8,cisplatin 75mg/m2, ivdrip,d2),xiaoaiping injection was added in the patients in the treatment group(40 ml/time,1 time/day for two weeks).Two cycles of chemotherapy were treated continuously.Tumor sizes, ZPS scores, QLQ-C30 and QLQ-LC13 quality of life questionnaires, hematologic and gastrointestinal toxicities were respectively assessmented before treatment and two weeks after the end of two cycle treatments.Finally SPSS19.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results There was no significant difference in the short-term efficacies of the two groups (Z=-1.740, p>0.05).The physical state of the treatment group patients was improved more significantly than those in the control group (Z=2.447, p<0.05),with statistical difference. The general health and quality of life in the treatment group patients increased more significantly than those in the control group (t=2.66, p<0.05), with a significant difference,and economic burden of patients in the treatment group was not increased significantly (Z=-0.46, p>0.05), with no significant difference.Cough, hemoptysis, shortness of breath, chest pain of patients in the treatment group improved more significantly than those in the control group(t values=4.22?3.13?3.45,p<0.05);The incidences of leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, nausea and vomiting of patients in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,with statistical difference.Conclusions Xiaoaiping injection combined with GP regimen chemotherapy in treatment of advanced squamous cell lung cancer can effectively improve physical state and quality of life,relieve the clinical symptoms and reduce adverse reactions,but not significantly increase in the short-term effect, the long-term effect needs further observation and research.
