| Objective The purpose of this study is to define the configuration status of laboratory equipment of CDCs in Hebei province, to explore its main influencing factors and then to put forward suggestions. It can provide a scientific basis for improving the level of equipment in the whole province.Method Analyze the configuration status of laboratory equipment of CDCs in Hebei province by documentation method, questionnaires method, descriptive study and other methods.Result 1 The standard-achieving rate of the three types of equipment configuration was much higher than that in 2002. The standard-achieving rate of Class A was nearly 90%and both Class B and Class C were of over 50% in Provincial CDC. The standardachieving rate of Class A was nearly 70% and both Class B and Class C were not over40% in municipal CDCs. The standard-achieving rate of Class A was reached 50% and both Class B and Class C were not over 20% in county CDCs. 2 In 2012, the laboratory equipment assets of CDCs in Hebei province reached397,598,700 yuan. The main sources of funds were for the purchase of government funds, self-financing and project financing. 3 The Gini coefficients according to the population distribution of Class A,Class B and Class C were 0.23, 0.33 and 0.38. 4 The standard-achieving rates of Class A inspection item in provincial, municipal and county level were 74.68%, 44.07% and60.62%, Class B 21.74%, 18.80% and 16.39%. Through the analysis, it was found that the change of the laboratory equipment configuration would affect the development of the inspection items. 5 There were many factors to affect the configuration of equipment.Conclusion The structure of laboratory equipment configuration had gradually improved,but the standard-achieving rates were still low during 2002 to 2012. The asset of laboratory equipment was growth a lot, but the gap still existed. There were regional differences in laboratory equipment configuration. Inspection items and the government's attention were the main factors. |
