Objectives To study the correlation between the expression of hypoxia inducible factor 1 alpha, epidermal growth factor receptor and endometrial carcinoma, and to analysis their clinical significance in endometrial carcinoma. Methods Selection 123 cases of patients, which were diagnosed and treated in North China University Science and Technology Affiliated Hospital since from September 2012 to June 2015, including 53 cases of patients with endometrial carcinoma as case group, the ages from 35 to 65, average age 54.74±7.58, 38 cases of patients with normal endometrium and 32 cases of patients with hyperplasia of endometrium as control group, the ages from 30 to 64, average age 53.20±8.16. All cases were confirmed by clinical and pathological experts, and none of them has received radiotherapy, chemotherapy, hormonotherapy. Collected the clinical datas and the endometrial tissues which were removed in the process of surgery or operation. Immunohistochemistry(S-P method) was used to detect the expression levels of HIF-1 alpha and EGFR in 53 cases of endometrial carcinoma tissues, 38 cases of normal endometrial tissues and 32 cases of hyperplasia of endometrium tissues. At the same time the analysis of the correlation with the expression of HIF-1 alpha and EGFR in endometrial carcinoma, their clinical significance and relevance were analyzed as well. Results 1 The positive expression rate of HIF-1 alpha in normal endometrial tissues, hyperplasia of endometrium tissues and endometrial carcinoma tissues increasing trend: 13.2%, 40.6%, 71.7%. The positive expression rate of HIF-1 alpha in endometrial carcinoma tissues were higher than that in hyperplasia of endometrium tissues and normal endometrial tissues(P<0.05). And two two comparison shows difference between three different endometrial tissues(P<0.017). 2 The positive expression rate of EGFR in normal endometrial tissues, hyperplasia of endometrium tissues and endometrial carcinoma tissues increasing trend: 10.5%, 34.4%, 67.9%. The positive expression rate of EGFR in endometrial carcinoma tissues were higher than that in hyperplasia of endometrium tissues and normal endometrial tissues(P<0.05). And two two comparison shows difference between three different endometrial tissues(P<0.017). 3 In 53 cases of endometrial carcinoma tissues, the positive expression rate of HIF-1 alpha was correlated with the pathologic staging, myometrial invasion and lymphatic metastasis(P<0.05). And the positive rate of HIF-1 alpha in endometrial carcinoma tissues at pathologic staging ?-? aperiod were higher than the I-II aperiod, deep myometrial invasion tissues were higher than the no or light myometrial invasion tissues, with lymphatic metastasis tissues were higher than the without lymphatic metastasis tissues. But with menopausal or not, estradiol levels, histological grade correlation have been found(P>0.05). 4 In 53 cases of endometrial carcinoma tissues, the positive expression rate of EGFR was correlated with the menopausal or not, pathologic staging, myometrial invasion and lymphatic metastasis(P<0.05). And the positive rate of EGFR in endometrial carcinoma tissues postmenopausal were higher than the pre-menopausal, at pathologic staging ?-? aperiod tissues were higher than the I-II aperiod tissues, deep myometrial invasion tissues were higher than the no or light myometrial invasion tissues, with lymphatic metastasis tissues were higher than the without lymphatic metastasis tissues. But with estradiol levels, histological grade correlation have been found(P>0.05). 5 The expression of HIF-1 alpha and EGFR in endometrial carcinoma tissues were positively correlated(r=0.634, P=0.000).Conclusions 1 The positive expression rate of HIF-1 alpha and EGFR in endometrial carcinoma tissues were higher than that in hyperplasia of endometrium tissues and normal endometrial tissues. 2 The positive expression rate of HIF-1 alpha was closely correlated with the pathologic staging, myometrial invasion and lymphatic metastasis. With the increase of pathologic staging, myometrial invasion and lymphatic metastasis it was increased. But with menopausal or not, estradiol levels, histological grade correlation have been found. 3 The positive expression rate of EGFR was closely correlated with the menopausal or not, pathologic staging, myometrial invasion and lymphatic metastasis. With the menopausal, increase of pathologic staging, myometrial invasion and lymphatic metastasis it was increased. But with estradiol levels, histological grade correlation have been found. 4 The expression of HIF-1 alpha and EGFR in endometrial carcinoma tissues were positively correlated.
