Objective: To investigate the effects of different altitude levels and different days on the plasma level of IL-6, IL-8 and IL-10 in rats, by measuring plasma level ofIL-6,IL-8and IL-10 of Wistar rats at different altitudes in the different time period. And supply theoretical basis to the study of inflammatory reaction in hypoxia. Methods: Eighty eight male Wistar rats were randomly divided into Control Group, Medium Altitude Group and High Altitude Group. The rats grouped MA and HA were carried from Lanzhou to Qinghai University Medical School animal room and low pressure oxygen tank for feeding 1day, 3days, 7days, 15 days, and 30 days. Then were collected the peripheral blood specimens 3ML,keeping in EDTAK2 anticoagulant tubes. Elisa was used to detect the levels of the IL-6,IL-8 and IL-10.Results: The levels of IL-6 and IL-8 in MA at the first day, the third days and the seventh days are higher than LA(P<0.05); The levels of IL-6 and IL-8 in HA are all higher than LA(P<0.05), and show a down trend after reaching to the peak at the seventh days while higher the LA; The levels of IL-10 in MA are higher than LA although they showed a down trend after a rising trend(P<0.05); The levels of IL-10 in HA are lower than LA and showed a down trend(P < 0.05); the levels of IL-10 in HA are lower than MA at the same day(P<0.05).Conclusion: The medium altitude hypoxia environment could cause the inflammation in the body. The inflammatory reaction is becoming deteriorater gradually in the beginning seven days then come back to the initial level; The inflammatory reaction is becoming deteriorater by seventh days at the high altitude hypoxia environment, while the inflammatory reaction and immune supperession reaction are exsiting.
