A Cross-sectional Study On Self Efficacy Of Patients With Head And Neck Cancer And Its Influencing Factors

Research objective:(1)Understand the level of self-management self-efficacy of patients with head and neck cancer.(2)Describe the social support,anxiety and depression of patients with head and neck cancer Status and coping style.(3)Analyze the influencing factors of self-efficacy of patients with head and neck cancer.(4)Explore the relationship between social support,anxiety and depression,coping style and self-efficacy of patients with head and neck cancer.Research method:This study used a cross-sectional descriptive study design.Using the convenience sampling method,from June 2016 to.January 2017 in Guangzhou City 2 hospital tumor treatment center hospital treatment of 152 cases with head and neck cancer patients(criteria)as the research object.The method of data collection is mainly by questionnaire:? Self efficacy scale(SUPPH)of Chinese patients with head and neck cancer patients assessed by Chinese version of carncer patients.? Social support scale(SSRS)was used to evaluate the social support of patients with head and neck cancer.? The anxiety and depression status of patients with head and neck cancer was assessed by the hospital anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS).? The Medical Coping Scale(MCMQ)assessment of patients with head and neck cancer disease face way to deal with the situation.? The general information questionnaire survey of head and neck cancer hospitalized patients with self-made demographic data of several disease related information.The data obtained in this study were analyzed by SPSS 13.0 statistical software.Research results:(1)The effectiveness of self management of the head and neck cancer patients overall level is 90.80±22.49,scores of positive attitude dimensions is 48.53±12.49,the score of self decision dimension is 9.89±2.57,the score of self decompression was 32.37±8.58 dimensions.Positive attitude dimension scored the highest,and the highest score of each item was positive attitude dimension.(2)The total score of medical coping with head and neck cancer patients was 58.59±4.90,and the three dimension score from high to low was in the face of dimension of 21.60±3.12,the avoidance dimension was18.27±2.60,and the yield dimension was16.07±2.45.(3)Head and neck cancer patients social support total score 41.01±8.39,the dimension scores from high to low:subjective support score 24.70±6.48,9.13±2.85,the score of objective support,utilization of social individual score of 7.90±2.90.(4)The average score of anxiety in patients with head and neck cancer was 7.16±3.16,and the average score of depression was about 6.64±3.40.(5)Single factor analysis showed that head and neck cancer patients in the medical coping modes of avoidance,anxiety,depression,yielding dimension,in a sense of movement and regional differences in the level of life and self management efficacy was statistically significant.In the correlation analysis of linear regression,the avoidance dimension,the dimension of yield,anxiety,depression and the self-efficacy of patients with head and neck cancer were correlated.In the multiple regression analysis,the five dimensions of medical coping style,such as the dimension of avoidance,the dimension of yield,anxiety,depression,and the area of life,finally entered into multiple regression.In this study,a total of 182 questionnaires were collected,and a total of 168 questionnaires were collected,with a recovery rate of up to 92.3%,which was considered as an effective questionnaire.The effective rate was up to 90.4%.Research conclusion:(1)Of the patients with head and neck cancer in this study,the majority of patients with self-management self-efficacy in the medium level(152).(2)Gender,age,religion,marital status,education level,personality type,occupation,family income,medical expenses,and the support of family members to accompany patients to participate in regular exercise exercise times is not the case of head and neck cancer hospital self-management efficacy in patients with physical factors.Different parts of head and neck cancer patients,the number of hospitalization,recurrence of head and neck cancer patients had no effect on self-management self-efficacy scores.(3)The influence of living area and exercise on the self-efficacy of patients with head and neck cancer.(4)Patients with head and neck cancer self-management self-efficacy scores and coping styles,anxiety,depression status.The coping avoidance coping style was negatively correlated with the self-efficacy of patients with head and neck cancer,and the yield dimension was positively correlated with the self-efficacy of patients with head and neck cancer.Anxiety and depression were negatively correlated with head and neck cancer patients.
