BackgroundFrom a worldwide perspective, china is not only rich in coal resources, but also have a huge coal production and consumption. About 60%-70% of energy from coal in our country. Over a long period of time, coal will continue to be the preferred source of energy, because of our energy characteristics (rich coal and less gas) and special stage of economic development. Coal chemical industry make coal into gas, liquid and solid products or semi-products, and then further processed into energy products by various chemical action. Including coal gasification, liquefaction, carbonization, acetylene and so on. With the development of science and technology, more and more coal chemical industry were constructed, especially coal and natural gas, methanol and other projects. Compared with other technology of coal chemical industry, coal gas has short process, high efficiency and relatively mature technology, low investment cost, less pollutant emissions and other advantages. In research of coal gas industry in our country at present stage, however, less literature of occupational disease hazards. Did not see a detailed report of the damage in the process of coal gas production process.ObjectiveTo fully understand the current situation of the occupational hazards in coal based synthetic natural gas industry, identify and determine the occupational hazards that may be present, survey the protection methods and facilities, propose the prevention and control measures in order to protect the workers.MethodsTo investigate the whole process of its production operation of coal-chemical industries, find the occupational hazards exist in production; to learn more about the general layout of the project, the implementation of production processes, occupational protective equipment, emergency rescue facilities, use of personal protective equipment and other aspects of occupational health protection measures, and to analyze, integrate, compare the survey results. In accordance with the relevant national technical norms and standards, under normal production condition, to test and analysis in laboratory the occupational hazards (such as dust, noise, hazardous chemicals, etc.) of production process. Detect and analysis the lighting.Results1.According to the production process and on-site research, the occupational hazards in coal based synthetic natural gas industry include dust (coal dust, silica dust); chemical poisons (carbon monoxide, ammonia); physical factors (noise).2. Occupational hazard protective measures:the enterprise in view of the occupational-disease-inductive factors exist, the corresponding occupational hazard protective measures, the dust gas, noise, power frequency electric field, high temperature resistant and etc. But there are still occupational-disease-inductive factors more than national occupational exposure limits.3. Poisonous and harmful chemicals:a total of 20 kinds, including handle concentration of carbon monoxide in purification system workshop for short periods of time (19.1?35.6 mg/m3) exceeded the national occupational exposure limits (30 mg/m3) 18.7%; Power system in furnace dosing ammonia concentration of short contact time between (25.7?34.2 mg/m3) exceeded the national occupational exposure limits (30 mg/m3) of 14.3%. Other poisonous and harmful chemicals in the workplace of the short time exposure concentration and time weighted average concentration for jobs are not exceed the occupational exposure limit.4. Dust:exposure concentration of 100 work sites for short periods of time, there are 20% of the check points overrun, ultra-limit spots are mainly distributed in coal factory (coal skin lead the tail, coal unloading, crushed coal) and power plants (ash library storehouse slag ash and slag); Time weighted average concentration detecting 63 jobs,27% of the jobs overrun, transfinite jobs in coal factory (truck drivers, belt cleaners and belt inspection workers) and power syetem (oven cleaners).5. Noise:the 249 bases on fixed-point detection noise intensity,17.3% testing point noise intensity, coal conveying system which the highest. Test 82 jobs of individual noise dose intensity,36.6% of jobs overrun, ultra-limit spots are mainly distributed in the coal conveying system (55.0% of the belt inspector sand 70.0% of the belt cleaners), power system (33.3% of the cleaners) and air separation system(100.0% of the inspectors), other physical factors not overrun detection results.Conclusions1. The coal gas for the occupational-disease-inductive serious project, main occupational-disease-inductive factors for dust, carbon monoxide, ammonia, noise, etc.2. The project for the occupational hazard critical control point:coal conveying system of coal dust and noise; Power system of silica dust, ammonia and noise; The noise of the air separation system. The purification system of carbon monoxide3. Occupational hazard protection measures can not fully meet the requirements of national laws and regulations. We should focus on strengthening occupational hazard protection facilities and operation. And improve and perfect the occupational health management measures.
