Objective:Observing and analyzing the dependency of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndromes for Central Serous Chorioretinopathy (CSC) patients and Type A behavior so as to explore their relationship of TCM,and being targeted for psychological intervention and TCM prevention, so as to reduce the recurrence rate of CSC.Method:According to the chapter "Color vision" in the "11th Five-Year National Programmed" textbook <Ophthalmology of Traditional Chinese Medicine>,through observation, auscultation and olfaction, interrogation, palpation and TCM syndrome differentiation for diagnosis, Dampness on generic and Phlegm-damp becoming heat syndrome are selected. Record the general information (gender, age, occupation),medical history and examination results. The type A behavior questionnaire investigation of national psychosomatic medicine which is compiled by Boyuan Zhang is adopted, in which A survey questionnaire is divided into three parts, namely TH (time urgency), CH (competition and hostility) and L(hide points). Through the statistical analyses, the correlation and relationship about TCM between the Dampness on generic, Phlegm-damp becoming heat syndrome and A behavior are further explored.Results:1.Comparison between the two groups indicates no significant differences in gender, age, career.2.The results of the constituent ratios of various behavior types in the two groups show obvious differences between them. The Phlegm-damp becoming heat group of type A behavior (A+mA) accounted for 62%,significantly higher than the card 38% of Dampness on generic group.3.The TH score,TH+CH score, which in the Phlegm-damp becoming heat group about A type behavior are higher than those in the Dampness on generic group, showing a significant difference, and the CH score has no significant difference.Conclusions:1.Phlegm-damp becoming heat for CSC and Type A behavior are closely related.2.The effect of TH factor which means time hung, haste, impatience and irritability on Phlegm-damp becoming heat for CSC is greater.
