| Objective:This study was designed to observe the self comparison symptoms before and after taking the Dioscorea Modified pill herbal paste of children with asthma remission in Chinese medicine,about the clinical symptoms and signs,immune function,trace elements,eosinophils and safety indicators,to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of the Dioscorea Modified pill Herbal Paste on Children's Asthma in Remission Stage.Methods:Through its own before and after the control of the clinical trial design,A total of 37 cases were followed to meet the requirements of this study,the winter solstice begins to take the Dioscorea Modified pill herbal paste,Treatment for 3months,follow up for 1 year,to observe the improvement of symptoms and signs,incidence times,the average duration of disease of Asthma;the incidence times,duration and types of respiratory infections;peripheral blood immune function of Ig M,Ig G and Ig A,trace elements of Calcium,Zinc,Iron,Lead,Magnesium and eosinophils;Blood routine,Urine routine,liver function of AST,ALT,?-GT,ALP and TBIL,renal function of BUN,SCR and e GFR and ECG.Results:(1)37 cases of children in the clinical cure in 4 cases(10.81%),markedly 12 cases(32.43%),effective in 16 cases(43.24%),invalid in 5 cases(13.51%),the total effective rate was 86.49%.(2)After treatment,the main symptoms scores were lower compared with before treatment,which cough,Shenpi fatigue to improve the more obviously,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).(3)After treatment,children with sub-symptoms scores were lower than before,which repeated colds,spontaneous perspiration,eat less appetite,cold limbs cold,dry mouth and throat,constipation than before improved more obviously,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05,P <0.01);There was no statistically significant difference between before and after treatment of other symptoms(P >0.05);(4)After treatment,the total score of TCM syndromes were improved,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);which improved the score of lung and spleen deficiency syndrome was more obviously,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.01);(5)After treatment,the incidence of asthma every 3 months and the average duration of onset were improved compared with before,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);(6)After treatment,the level of time,duration and type of respiratory infections have decreased than before,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);(7)After treatment,peripheral blood immunoglobulin Ig A,Ig G increased than before,which Ig A increased significantly,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);(8)There was no significant difference in eosinophil count in peripheral blood between in before and after treatment(P<0.05);(9)After treatment,the calcium content in peripheral blood of children was higher than that before,the differences were not statistically significant(P >0.05);Iron,zinc,lead,magnesium were lower than before,the differences were not statistically significant(P >0.05);(10)After treatment,there were not abnormal of Blood routine,Urine routine,liver function of AST,ALT,GGT,ALP and TBIL,renal function of BUN,CREA and e GFR and ECG.Conclusion:Application of the Dioscorea Modified pill herbal paste in Winter for Asthma Remission,has significant efficacy about relieving TCM syndrome and reducing the degree of asthma attack,reducing the number of asthma attacks and duration,reducing the incidence of respiratory infections,shorten the course of a single disease of respiratory tract infection,reducing the level of respiratory infections,improving children's immune capacity.There were no adverse reactions in the course of treatment,indicating that it has a good security.Indicating that to taking Dioscorea Modified pill herbal paste in Winter from the tonic lung spleen and kidney,expectorant and bloody stools can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and physical fitness of children with asthma. |
