Objective:To analyze the relationships between premature ejaculation diagnostic tool(PEDT)and International Index of erectile function-15(IIEF-15)in the different types of premature ejaculation. For premature ejaculation with individualized treatment in patients with erectile dysfunction. Methods:From December 2014 to December 2015,a cross-section survey was carried out in 352 patients complaining of premature ejaculation(PE)from the andrology outpatient and an cohort of 104 healthy men from health examination center, respectively. Each of them were asked to finish a detailed questionare including basic demographic information(e.g.age,height,weight,education status, occupation, income, etc.),PEDT,and IIEF-15.Results:Compared to the healthy men without PE complaint, subjects with PE had higher PEDT and lower IIEF-15 scores(P<0.001 for both). And significant negative correlations were found between PEDT and IIEF-15 as well as erectile function domain, sexual satisfaction domain and total satisfaction domain after adjusting for age(P<0.001 for all).Furthermore,it was found that cases with APE had lower IIEF-15 scores compared with men with LPE.And after adjusting for age, negative correlations between PEDT and IIEF-15,erectile function domain, total satisfaction domain were also found in men with APE(total scores:adjusted r =-0.391,P<0.001;erectile function: adjusted r =-0.362,P<0.001;total satisfaction: adjusted r =-0.621.p<0.001 for all).Besides, negative correlations were found between PEDT and sexual satisfaction domain, total satisfaction domain as well as total satisfaction domain in men with LPE(sexual satisfaction:adjusted r =-0.286,p<0.05;total satisfaction: adjusted r =-0.345,p<0.05).Conclusions:Patients with PE had higher PEDT scores and lower IIEF-15 than men without PE.Negative correlations were found between IIEF-15 and PEDT in men with APE.
