Study On Current Situation And Countermeasures Of The New Rural Cooperative Medical Care In Wuchuan County Of Hohhot

The pilot work of the new rural cooperative medical care,carried out since 2003 in our country,has been implementing step by step after making notable achievements.This new system relieves significantly the problem of the difficulty and high cost of getting medical services for farmers.Medical and health services in rural areas have been effectively improved and supported by farmers.The new rural cooperative medical care system,carried out since 2006 in Wuchuan county of Hohhot,reduces the financial burden of the local farmers and herdsmen and the poverty caused by illness?The system also solves the medical security problems of farmers and herdsmen in poor areas of Wuchuan County,but there are some problems and deficiencies of this system during the implementation.In this study,we take Wuchuan county in Hohhot as an example to make a thorough research on the implementation of the new rural cooperative medical care,by applying public management theory,Documentary analysis,field investigation,the quantitative analysis and personal interview method,an so on.The introduction explains the background and significance of the topic,summarizes the research status at home and abroad,presents the research methods used in the research process as well as the innovation points and deficiencies in this paper.Chapter one introduces the concept of the new rural cooperative medical care system and its related theories.Chapter two summarizes the basic situation of Wuchuan County,the current situation and achievements of the new rural cooperative medical care system.Chapter three analyzes the problems and its causes of the new rural cooperative medical care system in Wuchuan County during its implementation.Chapter four provides some countermeasures and suggestions about the problems of the new rural cooperative medical care system of Wuchuan County.
