Clinical Study On Effect Of Jia Wei Erzhi Pills On Homocysteine Level In Postmenopausal Women With Hypertension

ObjectiveThis study would observe the curative effect of Jiawei Erzhi Pills on homocysteine in postmenopausal women with hypertension to analyze the improvement of symptoms and the changes of homocysteine in postmenopausal women with hypertension before and afer medicaition to evaluate the effect of Jiawei Erzhi pills on the homocysteine which is of of the cardiovascular risk factors and For Chinese medicine to provide a new method to prevent and treat the cardiovascular disease.MethodsThis study was conducted in a prospective study,by collecting and screening 64 patients of natural menopause at the same time suffering from Hypertension 1 or 2 between June 2016 to February 2017 from The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM Cardiovascular Department Inpatient and Outpatient Department.Amount 64 patients were randomly divided into control group and treatment group.Control group and treatment group each have 32 patients according to the random number.According to the way,the control group of patients would keep their conventional therapy(On the basis of individual antihypertensive China guidelines for hypertension prevention and treatment in 2010 year,a first-line antihypertensive drugs used to the patients suffering from Hypertension 1,combination of two first-line antihypertensive drug to the patients suffering from Hypertension 2).Patients in the treatment group would add jiawei Erzhi Pills(Epimedium granules 10g,Ligustrum lucidum granules 10g,Eclipta granules 10g)on their conventional therapy(On the basis of individual antihypertensive China guidelines for hypertension prevention and treatment in 2010 year,a first-line antihypertensive drugs used to the patients suffering from Hypertension 1,combination of two first-line antihypertensive drug to the patients suffering from Hypertension 2).Two groups of patients before treating 0 day and after treating 30days would take about 1-2ml peripheral venous blood to place 10 minutes after centrifugation.And then through the kit circulating enzymatic method by using the type CobasC701 automatic biochemical analyzer and Kefang company production of determination to plasma homocysteine(HCY)numerical value.Two groups of patients should fill in the modified Kupperman score table before treating 0 day and after treating 30 days.All the data collected in this study were tested by SPSS 13,Using the mean ± standard deviation method or normality test,t test,nonparametric rank sum test and other methods to test.If Statistical results P<0.05 that means the difference was statistically significant,if P>0.05 was not statistically significant.Results1.after intervening(treating 0 day),the ages of two groups of patients、age of menopause、the age when the two groups found they had hypertension.their food habits、the grades of their modified Kupperman score table、the patients with their sundrome、the HCY in their plasma had no statistical significance(P>0.05).Therefore,the two groups have comparability.During the course of treatment,the twogroups were no cases of shedding.2.After intervening for 30 days,the grades of their modified Kupperman score table.the HCY in their plasma had no statistical significance compared with treating 0 day(P>0.05).3.After the intervention for 30 days,the grades of the modified Kupperman score table of the patients in treatment groups were significantlylower than they before intervention,the difference was statiscally significant(P<0.05).4.After the intervention for 30 days,the HCY level in their plasma of the treatment groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionJiawei Erzhi Pills can improve the symptoms of postmenopausal women with high blood pressure after 30 days course of treatment.And it is significant effect on the risk factor of homocysteine(HCY)in cardiovascular disease.It is speculated that Jiawei Erzhi Pills improve the symptoms of postmenopausal hypertension by estrogenic action.Through this study,it also shows that the main pathogenmesis of TCM of postmenopausal hypertension is the deficiency of liver and kidney.After treating by Jiawei Erzhi pills for 30 days,the patient has no discomfort,and it is proven safe and reliable in a short time.
