Objective : To study the expression of BRAF V600 E gene in papillary thyroid carcinoma and its clinical characteristics. Methods:Retrospectively analyse 280 patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma selected from Thyroid Surgery Department from October 2014 to December 2016.All patients underwent surgical treatment and the BRAF V600 E gene was detected.including 50 males and 230 females with a male to female ratio of about 1:5.To incorporate the patient's statistical classification gender, age, maximum diameter of carcinoma, lesion number, capasula invasion, local lymph node metastasis, accompanied by Hashimoto's thyroiditis or Nodular goiter or not and clinical stage statistical classification. Results: There were 280 patients with BRAF positive and 38 patients with BRAF negative patients. The mutation rate was 86.4%.And 50 cases of male patients,230 cases of female patients. There were 148 patients with(29)45 years old and 132 patients?45 years old patients. The average tumor diameter was 1.01±0.68 cm,162 cases of papillary thyroid microcarcinoma(tumor diameter?1cm),papillary carcinoma(tumor diameter(29)1cm)118 cases,124 cases of ultiple lesions,156 cases of single lesions, membranous infants in 232 cases,48 cases of non-infiltration of the film;with Hashimoto's thyroiditis in 77 cases, without Hashimoto's thyroiditis in 203 cases;Combined with nodular goiter in 115 cases, not a combination of 165;these clinical features after comparison were no statistically significant.Lymph node metastasis in 178 cases,no lymph node metastasis 102,the two groups were significantly statistically significant(?2=6.73,p(27)0.01);clinical stage: stage I patients 92 cases,(II,II,IV)period Patients in 188 cases, the group was statistically significant(?2=4.20,p(27)0.05)Conclusions:(1)The BRAF mutation rate in this study is 86.4%,and the mutation rate is higher than that reported both at home and abroad. The clinical progress could be used to predict the progression and prognosis of PTC.(2)The BRAF mutation in this study was statistically correlated with clinical stage(II,II,IV/I)and lymph node metastasis, and sex, age, tumor size,single/multiple lesions,There is no statistically significant correlation between native thyroiditis and nodular goiter.Clinically,we can make a reference for PTC treatment, prognosis and patient follow-up by detecting BRAF gene mutation.BRAF gene related research may provide a new concept for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of thyroid cancer.
