ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of ESPCS health education nursing intervention on the cognitive ability and health behavior of patients with osteoporotic fracture.Methods80 patients with osteoporotic vertebral fractures were selected in the hospital as the control group from Janurary 2016 to June 2016,and 80 patients with osteoporotic vertebral fractures were selected in the hospital as the intervention group from July 2016 to December 2016.The patients of the control group were received the routine nursing during the treatment, and the patients of the intervention group were given the routine nursing and health education of ESPCS nursing intervention during the treatment. The osteoporosis knowledge health belief and self-efficacy of two groups were respectively evaluated and analyzed after admission, discharge and after one month, and the health behavior of two groups were respectively evaluated and analyzed after admission and after discharge one month.Results1.The scores of self-efficacy,health belief score, health behavior, osteoporosis related health knowledge score and the proportion of each sub item scores of two groups before nursing intervention were no significantly difference(P > 0.05).2.The scores of self-efficacy,health belief score, health behavior, osteoporosis related health knowledge score and each scale of each sub item scores of two groups in the nursing intervention(discharge)and one month after the nursing intervention(one month after discharge)were significantly higher than those before nursing intervention(P < 0.05).3.The proportion of health behavior regular exercise, calcium supplements, sunshine and VD of the former of two groups in nursing intervention after a month(one month after discharge)were significantly higher than those before nursing intervention, and the proportion of health behavior smoking and drinking were significantly lower than those before nursing intervention(P < 0.05).The proportion of vegetables and beans of the control group for one month after the nursing intervention were no significantly difference with that before nursing intervention(P > 0.05).4.The scores of self-efficacy,health belief score, health behavior, health knowledge score and the proportion of each sub item scores in the intervention group in the nursing intervention(discharge)and one month after the nursing intervention(one month after discharge)were significantly higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05).5.The proportion of health behavior of regular exercise, calcium supplements, sunshine, vegetables, milk, beans and VD in the nursing intervention group in one month after intervention(one month after discharge)were significantly higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05).The proportion of health behavior of drinking and smoking in the nursing intervention group in one month after intervention(one month after discharge)were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05).6.The time effect, the interaction between group and time of osteoporosis related knowledge and self-efficacy score of two groups before and after the intervention were significantly difference(P < 0.05).Conclusion1.The nursing intervention of ESPCS health education could effectively enhance the osteoporotic vertebral fracture patients for osteoporosis and osteoporotic vertebral cognitive ability.2.The ESPCS health education intervention can obviously enhance the self-efficacy of patients with osteoporotic spinal fractures, health beliefs, and improve the compliance and enthusiasm of patients to health care interventions.3.The ESPCS health education intervention can significantly improve the health related behaviors of patients with osteoporotic spinal fractures, and reduce the harmful health behaviors of patients.
