Objective:To investigate the internal carotid artery color Doppler flow imaging and fully automatic vision, optical coherence tomography(OCT)inspection in patients with primary open angle glaucoma, discussing the correlation of fiber layer thickness and vision with internal carotid artery in primary open angle glaucoma. Methods:This article will include in the patients,94cases(188 eyes),who had treated in First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University Ophtalmology department during June 2012 to Dec 2016.All patients internal carotid artery determined with color Doppler ultrasound, optical coherence tomography(OCT)to measure fiber layer thickness and automatic vision inspection, the internal carotid artery blood vessel diameter, blood vessels, pulsation index(PI),vascular resistance index(RI),systolic blood flow velocity(PSV),diastolic blood flow velocity(EDV),and retinal nerve fiber layer(RNFL)thickness, view index(VFI),average visual defect(MD),visual field defect standard deviation(PSD)for linear correlation analysis. Results:The internal carotid artery diameter of primary open angle glaucoma patients correlated with the below RNFL(P < 0.05);The internal carotid artery PI and RI correlated with the above and below RNFL,temporal RNFL(P < 0.05);MD,The internal carotid artery diameter,PI,RI and PSD correlated with MD(P< 0.05);POAG patients’ internal carotid artery PSV correlated with PSD(P < 0.05);POAG patients of internal carotid artery diameter,PI,RI,EDV with VFI and PSD no significant correlation(P > 0.05).Conclusion:Primary open angle glaucoma patients with internal carotid artery diameter and systolic blood pressure blood flow velocity affects the optic nerve and vision damage.
