Objective:To investigate the serum of patients with severe multiple trauma of procalcitonin(PCT),early warning score(NEWS)score combined with acute physiology and chronic health evaluation(APACHE II)in severe multiple trauma caused by multiple organ dysfunction syndrome(MODS)application value,so as to provide a theoretical basis for clinical treatment. Methods: The October 2014-January 2016 in our hospital 102 cases of severe multiple trauma patients,In the week of treatment according to whether or not there during MODS divided into two groups: MODS group(50 cases)and non-MODS group(52 cases),Records of two patients after injury 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 days PCT level,NEWS score and APACHE score difference analysis, the data were compared between the two groups PCT level,NEWS score and APACHE score. The correlation analysis of PCT level,NEWS score and APACHE II.Results: Two groups of patients with APACHE score in third days was statistically significant(P < 0.05);patients with PCT levels of two groups in third days were statistically significant(P < 0.05);the two groups were statistically significant differences in NEWS scores for a week(P < 0.05);PCT value correlated with APACHE score positive correlation over time, more and more strong(1~ 7 days,r=0.40,0.48,0.57,0.63,0.67,0.70,0.72,P < 0.05);the NEWS score and APACHE score were positively correlated, the correlation coefficient is about 0.5,(1~ 7 days,r=0.51,0.46,0.47,0.50.0.54,0.55,0.53,P < 0.05).Conclusion: PCT,NEWS score combined with APACHE score of patients with severe multiple trauma have a certain predictive effect of MODS.
