Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Type 2 Diabetic Nephropathy With Qi-yin Deficiency Type By Modified Shenqi Dihuang Decoction

Objective:To observe the effect of Modified Shenqi Dihuang Decoction combined with ACEI / ARB drugs on the biochemical indexes and TCM syndrome score of Type II diabetic nephropathy(T2DN)patient(stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ)who have a deficiency of Qi and Yin Deficiency,and to understand their clinical curative effect and safety,in order to explore a safe and effective treatment of diabetic nephropathy.Methods:During the progress of experiment,62 target patients that T2 DN patient(stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ)who have a deficiency of Qi and Yin Deficiency were randomly divided into 2 equal number(31/31)groups by random number of random grouping.During the general treatment,the control group were only given ACEI/ARB drugs to reduce protein urine while the treatment group plus Modified Shenqi Dihuang Decoction on the basis of the control group.Three months later,we measured the fasting blood glucose(FBG),2h postprandial blood glucose(P2h BG),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein Protein cholesterol(HDL-c),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-c),glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb A1c),24 h urinary protein(24h-UAER),serum beta 2 microglobulin (serum 2-MG),urine beta 2 microglobulin(urinary beta 2-MG),serum cystatin C(Cysc),TCM syndrome integral change.Results:Three months later,The treatment group’s improvement of TCM symptoms was higher than the control group(86.7%/56.7%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of TCM symptoms、FBG、P2h BG、TC、TG、Hb A1c、24h-UAER、bioodβ2-MG、Cysc of two groups all decreased(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.The level of urinary β2-MG decreased significantly in the two groups(P<0.05),but there was no statistically difference(P > 0.05).LDL-c levels in the treatment group decreased,HDL-c levels increased,compared with before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the changes of LDL-c and HDL-c in the control group were not significantly different from those before treatment(P >0.05).And there was no obvious adverse reaction between the two groups during the treatment period.Before and after treatment,the blood samples were normal,liver and kidney function,electrocardiogram and so on showed no obvious abnormal changes,indicating that the two groups of drugs have a high safety.Conclusion:Modified Shenqi Dihuang Decoction combined with ACEI / ARB drugs can significantly improve the TCM clinical symptoms of patients with deficiency of qi and yin deficiency T2DN(stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ),improve the metabolism of sugar and lipid,reduce urinary protein and protect the kidneys,and the clinical effect is better than that of AECI/ARB drugs.It is a safe and effective treatment of diabetic nephropathy,worthy of clinical promotion.
