Clinical Observation Of Alopecia Areata With Liver-depression And Blood-stasis Treated By The Compound Of Traditional Chinese Drugs

ObjectiveObserve the clinical efficacy of the compound of traditional Chinese drugs which was used to smooth liver and harmonize blood treat early alopecia areata located at head.To explore the excact clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine used at early alopecia areata located at head and recuperat-ing the anxiety and depression of patients.To evaluate the changes of patients' emotional state before and after treatment.MethodsTo number the patients who was diagnosd alopecia areata and met the set inclusion criteria from 01 to 80 according to the visiting order.Divide the patient radomly into two groups through referring the random table:treatment group and control group,the number of each group was respectively 40.Both groups gave tincture of Xiaoban for external application two times a day and added plum-bloossom needle therapy two times a week.Patients in treatment group taked compound of traditional Chinese drugs(chaihu of 20g,dangsheng of 20,baishao of 15g,fuling of 10g,danggui of 15g,baizhu of 10g,yujin of 15g,taoren of 15g,chuanxiong of 15g,zhigancao of 6g,all the drugs were decocted to 200ml and would have uniform packaging by the medicine room of our hospital,patients in the treatment group taked one dosage a day).Patients in control group taked cysteine tablets(50mg tid)and folic acid tablets(one pill tid).Record the concrete lesions of alopecia areata and guide the patients to fill out the self-rating anxiety scale and self-rating depression scale before the treatment.After 12 weeks of continuous treatment,observe the patient's hair growth and guide the patients to fill out the self-rating anxiety scale and self-rating depression scale again.Results1.There was no significant differences at age,sex,time,alopecia area,anxiety score and depression score between the treatment group and the control group before treatment(P>0.05).2.(1)After the treatment,18 cases were cured,11 cases were significantly effective,6 cases were effective,5 cases were invalid and the total effective rate was 87.5%in the treatment group.10 cases were cured,5 cases were significantly effective,10 cases were effective,15 cases were invalid and the total effective rate was 62.5%in the control group.The efficacy of treatment group was better than control group through test of rank sum,P=0.004,the difference was statistically significant.The total effective rate of treatment group was better than control group through the test of chi square,P=0.01,the difference was statistically significant.(2)The therapeutic effect scores of the two groups were both decreased after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P?0.05).The mean anxiety and depression scores of treatment group were lower than control group after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P?0.05).The D-value of threatment group was lager than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P?0.05).ConclusionThe compound of traditional Chinese drugs which was used to smooth liver and harmonize blood has good therapeutic effect on threatment of alopecia areata with liver-depression and blood-stasis and good improvement for anxious and depressed conditions of patients.
