Clinical Analysis Of The Interventional Bronchoscope Treatment For Primary Benign Endobronchial Tumors

Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics of patients with primary benign endobronchial tumor and diagnosis methods,and the clinical curative effect of interventional therapy under bronchoscope.Subjects and methods:We reviewed the clinical manifestation,CT features,bronchoscopic appearance and pathologic types of 18 patients with benign endobronchial tumors,and the efficacy of combined electrocautry,argon plasma cogulation and cryotherapy for the treatment of the 18 patients.Results:There were 10 male and 8 female in 18 patients,all cases had cough symptom and respiratory difficulty,including 3 cases of hemoptysis,most of them were misdiagnosed as bronchial asthma or chronic bronchitis.Different types of tumor in 18 patients included 6 cases of hamartoma;1 case of pleomorphic adenoma;3 case of lipoma;2 cases of leiomyoma;1 case of Inflammatory polyp;3 cases of glomus tumor;1 case of inflammatory pseudotumor;1 case of foreign body granuloma.The course of disease was between 1 month to 72 months.For all cases,we employed local anesthesia before inserting flexible bronchoscope.By using combined electrocautry,argon plasma cogulation and cryotherapy,we removed tumors and made all patients' respiratory tracts unobstructed.Of these cases,16 cases were treated one times,2 cases two times because of larger size.No severe complications were occurred.1 case of inflammatory polyp recurrence after 32 weeks,1 cases of pleomorphic adenoma recurrence after 20 months.Conclusion:Under the bronchoscopic interventional treatment for primary tracheal and bronchial benign tumor patients,invasive,fewer clinical complication,but also the patients were tolerated,curative effect.
