Objeetive:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture foot motor sensory area,acu-point of JuLiao(ST3)and emotional area for treating knee osteoarthritis,in order to seek a more simple and comprehensive treatment. Methods:In this study,96 patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group and control group by random number table method, which included 48 cases in each group. The acupuncture group were treated with acupuncturing contralateral foot motor sensory area, sensory area and ipsilateral acu-point of JuLiao, and the two areas were manipulated by fast twist about 3 min, with the frequency of 200r/min or more, leaving the needle for 30 min, twisting the needle with the same method every 10 minutes;reinforcing and reducing by lifting and thrusting method was used on acu-point of JuLiao and also leaving it for 30min.The control group were treated by acupucturing the acu-point of Xi Yan,Li angQiu,Yang Ling Quan and XueHai,with conventional acupuncture, leaving the needle for 30 min. Both groups were treated once a day,6 days in a week, and paused for 1 day,5 weeks of treatment in total. The Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index,Visual Analogue Score and knee flexion and extension activity were used as the evaluation index to observe the treatment effect of the two groups.Observe and summarize the treatment effect of the two groups, and analyze the data statistically. The data were analyzed statistically.Results:1.Comparison of Visual Analogue Score between the two groups:after treatment, the Visual Analogue Score of the two groups were statistically significant(p<0.05),and the difference between the two groups was significant(p<0.05),suggesting that the two groups of treatment regimens were effective in the pain relief of knee osteoarthritis patients, and the treatment group was better than the control group.2.Comparison of The Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index scores between the two groups:after treatment, two groups of pain, stiffness, difficulty in daily activities were significantly different(p<0.05),indicating that the two groups were both effective;the treatment group before treatment and after treatment pain, stiffness, the difficulty of taking daily activity and the total score, the difference was significant(p<0.01).The results showed that the treatment group had a significant effect on improving the pain and other symptoms. In the control group, compared with before treatment, the pain, the difficulty of daily activities and the total score difference was significant(p<0.05),the results showed that the control group can relieve pain and reduce the difficulty of taking daily activity. In the control group, there was no significant difference between before and after treatment(p>0.05),the results showed that the control group had no obvious effect on the improvement of joint stiffness.3.Comparison of knee’s range of motion between the two groups:the difference between the two groups was significantly(p<0.05)in the knee’s range of motion, and the treatment group showed superior to the control group in the improvement of knee’s range of motion.4.Comparison of Self-Rating Anxiety Scale between the two groups:there was significant difference after both groups’ treatment(p<0.05),and the difference was significant(p<0.05),indicated that the two groups of treatment regimens were effective in the relief of knee osteoarthritis patients about anxiety mood, and the treatment group was better than the control group.5.Comparison of Self-Rating Depression Scale between the two groups:compared with before treatment, there was significant difference after both groups’ treatment(p<0.05),and the difference was significant(p<0.05),indicated that the two groups of treatment regimens were effective in the relief of knee osteoarthritis patients about depression, and the treatment group was better than the control group.6.The total effective rate was 97.91%in the treatment group and 91.67%in the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05),indicating that the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group Control group.Conclusions:1.Acupuncture foot motor sensory area, emotional area,acu-poiont of JuLiao and conventional control group to treat knee osteoarthritis had a good clinical efficacy, and acupuncture foot motor sensory area, emotional area,acu-poiont of JuLiao was better than the control group.2.Acupuncture foot motor sensory area, emotional area,acu-poiont of JuLiao to treat knee osteoarthritis can effectively alleviate the pain and stiff of the knee, improve the knee’s range of motion and relieve anxious emotion.
