Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Functional Diarrhea Of Spleen And Stomach Deficifency By Tonifying Qi And Invigorating Spleen

Objective:By clinical observing the clinical effect of the invigorating qi and strengthening spleen treatment on functional diarrhea of spleen and stomach deficiency syndrome,to evaluate the clinical effect of the treatment.Methods:A total number of 40 cases of functional diarrhea patients caused by spleen and stomach deficiency were included in this study.The patients were treated with invigorating qi and strengthening spleen treatment and were observed by the comparison of their own situations before and after treatment.The clinical observation of treatment lasts for 4 weeks.The TCM signs' scores and psychological scores of the patients were recorded after 0 weeks of treatment and 4 weeks of treatment.meanwhile using the SPSS 19.0 to analyze and compare statistics information before and after the treatment,in order to observe the improvement of the patients with functional diarrhea symptoms.12 weeks after the treatment cessation,the patients were followed up.,The recurrence of the patients was evaluated by observing the changes of symptoms and TCM signs of the patients,compared with those when they had 4 weeks' treatment.Results:Among the 40 cases of patients,3 of them failed to follow,the observation of the treatment on the rest were completed successfully,in which,8 were cured,15 had remarkable effects,12 were effective and 2 had no effects.The total effective rate was 94.59%.By comparing the TCM signs scores,stool shapeless symptom scores and valley not fully digesting symptom scores of 37 patients before and after treatment,all the items showed that P<0.01,meaning that there were significant differences.The SAS score and SDS score of the patients were also decreased compared with the ones before treatment.During the follow-up process,2 cases failed to follow,and 4 recurred,the recurrence rate was about 11.4%.Conclusion:The invigorating qi and strengthening spleen treatment has significant curative effect on functional diarrhea caused by spleen and stomach deficiency,the treatment can significantly improve the TCM signs of patients,and improve the psychological status to a certain extent and the quality of life.Meanwhile,invigorating qi and strengthening spleen treatment on functional diarrhea also the advantages of low recurrence rate and better long-term effect.There will be good prospects for clinical application.
