Correlation Study Of Iodine Nutritional Status And Thyroid Cancer In Part Of Urumqi Region

Objective Study the relationship between iodine nutritional status and thyroid cancer in part of Urumqi.Method Collecting 158 cases of benign thyroid nodules and 156 cases of thyroid carcinoma with surgical treatment in the department of vascular and thyroid surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from March 2014 to December 2014,and Collecting 301 cases of health y physical examination with normal thyroid morphology confirmed by thyroid ultra sound during the same period,recording the general data,urine iodine,serum thyroi d function,thyroid autoantibodies level for statistical analysis.Results The deferenc e between 3 groups of gender,age has statistical significance?P<0.05?,has no statis ti-cal significance between nation?P>0.05?.The differences betweeen of the three groups of serum total triiodothyronine?TT ₃?,total thyroxine?TT4?,promote thyroid sti-mulating hormone?TSH?,thyroglobulin antibody?TGAb?,thyroid peroxidase antibod y?TPOAb?were statist-ically significant?P<0.05?.The median urinary iodine of the615 cases of research objects was [261.50?221.50?]?g/L,the normal thyroid morpho logy group was [257.60?169.35?]ug/L,the benign thyroid nodule group was [261.05?263.42?]ug/L,the thyroid cancer group was [297.90?374.40?]ug/L,the difference between the 3 groups has statistical significance?P<0.05?,and the thyroid cancer group compared with the benign thyroid nodule group and the normal thyroid morpholo gy,the benign thyroid nodule group compared with the normal group,the difference h-as statistical significance?P<0.05?.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showe d t-hat iodine excess,female,and serum TgAb were the risk factors of thyroid cance r?P<0.05?.Conclusions Iodine deficiency has been corrected in Urumqi Region Xin jiang,which is in excess capacity;excess iodine,female,serum TGAb abnormal is t-he rel-ated risk factors of thyroid cancer,and we suggest people in part of Urmqi s-hould control the food that contains iodine and iodized salt in diet.
