The Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture Du Meridian’s Tender Points To Treat Depression With Gastrointestinal Symptoms

Objective:People concern about depression disorder because of its somatic symptoms.Gastrointestinal symptoms are the most common somatic symptoms.By collecting literature review,this study discusses the relationship between du meridian,depression and gastrointestinal.Though observing and needling the du meridian tender points of the depression patients with gastrointestinal symptoms,to find the differences and the law of changes between gastrointestinal symptoms and tender points.Scale score can evaluate the treatment effect to further understand the relationship between gastric and depression.Methods:The include patients are randomly divided into acupuncture drug group and drug group.Acupuncture drug group use the method of the spine and walk to collect tender points and symptoms.Analyzing the relationship between symptoms and tender points,symptoms and symptoms,tender points and tender points.The acupuncture drug group use acupuncture treatment and oral citalopram,the drug group only oral citalopram.Both groups scale the score of Hamilton depression rating scale(HAMD)and gastrointestinal diseases of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scale.Using statistical method to compare different changes between symptoms and tender points in the procession of the treatment.Results:Patients’ tender point’s distribution is the thoracic vertebra T5,thoracic vertebra T7,thoracic vertebra T8,thoracic vertebra T9,and thoracic vertebra T11.Correlation analysis statistics find that upper gastrointestinal symptoms are more relevant with the thoracic vertebra T5,thoracic vertebra T7,thoracic vertebra T8,thoracic vertebra T9,and thoracic vertebra T11.And lower digestive tract symptoms are more relevant with thoracic vertebra T5,thoracic vertebra T7,thoracic vertebra T11,thoracic vertebra T8,and thoracic vertebra T9.By analysis the HAMD scale and gastrointestinal diseases of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scale,the acupuncture drug group and the drug group both have a good effect on improve mood and gastrointestinal symptoms(P<0.05),the mood has no obvious difference between two groups(P>0.05),acupuncture drug group on gastrointestinal symptoms curative effect is superior to the drug group(P<0.05).The decrease of tender points in thoracic vertebra T5,thoracic vertebras T7 are lowest.The acupuncture effects in nausea and vomiting,loss of appetite and constipation are from top to bottom.Conclusion:1.Depressions with gastrointestinal symptoms in patients are combined into a regular distribution of du meridian’s tender points;different part of gastrointestinal has different distribution.There is a connection between symptoms and tender points.2.The reduction of symptoms precedes the decreasing of tender points,the decreasing of tender points are followed by the reduction of symptoms,and patients with different symptoms are also have different in decreasing of tender points.3.In the short-term treatment(2 weeks),the acupuncture therapy is better than drug in improve gastrointestinal symptoms,and there are no differences between two groups in improve depression.Acupuncture immediate effect is obvious;suggesting that early intervention of clinical is necessary.The treatment of different gastrointestinal symptoms with acupuncture du meridian’s tender points is different.
