Clinical Observation Of Needle Inserting The Specific Points With Liver Meridian And Kidney Meridian Combine With Sanshen Points Of Scalp Acupuncture Therapy In The Treatment Of Post-stroke Depression

Purpose:To observe the clinical efficacy of needle inserting the specific points with liver meridian and kidney meridian combine with Sanshen points of scalp acupuncture therapy in the treatment of post-stroke depression.Objection:60 patients were up to the standards of post-stroke depression,and 60 patients were randomly divided into two groups;one was a therapy group and another was control group and each group has 30 patients.Therapy group was treated by acupuncture treatment of liver meridian and kidney meridian’s specific points combined with Sanshen points of scalp points.The liver meridian’s specific points which were source point,Taichong(Liv3),connecting point,Ligou(Liv5)and well point,Dadun(Livl).The kidney meridian’s specific points which were source point,Taixi(K3),connecting point,Dazhong(K4)and well point,Yongquan adun(K1).Sanshen points of scalp points were Bensen(GB13),Shenting(GV24),Sishencong(EX-HN1)and Sanyinjiao(SP6).Another group was a control group using conventional acupuncture method to needle insert the Baihuei(GV20),Yintang(EX-HN3),Shenmen(H7),Neiguan(P6),Taichong(Liv3),Danzhong(CV17);each treatment time for 40 minutes,ones a day,and each course of treatment for 6 days,a day of rest,a total of 5 courses.To evaluate the clinical efficacy of two groups by using Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)Syndrome Scale.Results:(1)Score of Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD):The clinical efficacies of the two groups were evaluated by Ridit analysis,P<0.05.There was a significant difference between these two groups.The total effective rate of the therapy group was much higher than the control group.Between the therapy group and control group,P>0.05,there was no significant different after 6 days of treatment;however,after 24 days of treatment,two groups have significant differences,P<0.05.Although,after 6 days of treatment,the efficacy of the therapy group did not have obvious difference with the control group,after 24 days of treatment,under the effect of the two groups compared the efficacy of the therapy group was significantly higher than the control group.(2)Traditional Chinese Medicine Scale:The clinical efficacies of the two groups were evaluated by Ridit analysis,P<0.05.There was a significant difference between these two groups.The total effective rate of the therapy group was much higher than the control group.Between the therapy group and control group,after 24 days of treatment,two groups had significant differences,P<0.05.Although,after 6 days of treatment,the efficacy of the therapy group did not have obvious difference with the control group,after 24 days of treatment,under the effect of the two groups compared the efficacy of the therapy group was significantly higher than the control group.Conclusion:(1)The therapy group has the better effective rate than the control group that the PSD patients can recover fast.(2)Stroke and depression are a vicious circle.Needle inserting the specific points with liver meridian and kidney meridian combine with Sanshen points of scalp acupuncture therapy that bases on TCM theory of"Hepatorenal homology" and the method of nourishing water to moisten wood.To achieve the effective of clearing the liver and draining fire,and nourishing liver and kidney.When we treat the PSD patients,we not only treat the symptom of depression,but also to reduce the recurrence rate of stroke.(3)The clinical efficacy of post-stroke depression by using needle inserting the specific points with liver meridian and kidney meridian combine with Sanshen points of scalp acupuncture therapy is obviously better than conventional acupuncture.It can reduce the recurrence rate,disability rate and mortality rate of stroke,and is worthy of clinical application.
