Risks Factors Of Atherosclerotic Cerebral Infarction At Middle And Old Age Complicated With Coronary Heart Disease

Objective: To analyze the clinical characteristics of atherosclerotic cerebral infarction(ACI)patients at middle and old age complicated with coronary heart disease(CHD),and to explore the risk factors of ACI in elderly patients with CHD.Methods: clinical data and laboratory results of 197 atherosclerotic cerebral infarction patients were collected from the department of neurology of Guangxi Chinese medicine Hospital from January 1,2015 to December 31,2015.At the age of 45-88,ACI patients were divided into complicated with CHD group(99cases),ACI group(98 cases).Furthermore,ACI complicated with CHD was divided into elderly group(60 cases),middle age ACI group(39 cases).Their age,sex,diabetes mellitus history,Hypertension history,hyperlipidemia history,smoking history,drinking history,etc.were recorded.Height and weight measurement,laboratory tests including total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),fibrinogen(FIB),uric acid(UA),homocysteine(HCY)were also recorded.Results: In ACI patients complicated with CHD group the ratio of age was over 65 years and carotid artery stenosis was significantly higher than that in ACI group.Moreover,in ACI complicated with CHD group the levels of BMI,SBP,age,HbA1c%,FPG,FIB,UA,HCY significantly higher than that of ACI group(P < 0.05),and other indicators of the difference between the two groups was not significant(P > 0.05).The degree of carotid stenosis was positively correlated with the score of coronary artery lesions in patients with ACI complicated with CHD(P < 0.05).In ACI complicated with CHD patients,the proportion of hypertension,diabetes mellitus and carotid artery stenosis in elderly group was significantly higher than that the middle-aged group,but the ratio of smoking,overweight and obesity was significantly lower than that of the middle-aged group(P < 0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age,hypertension,diabetes,carotid artery stenosis,FIB and UA were risk factors of ACI complicated with CHD.Conclusions: Age,hypertension,diabetes mellitus,carotid artery stenosis and FIB,UA were the risk factors of ACI complicated with CHD.Among them,the role of hypertension and diabetes mellitus chronic disease in elderly patients with ACI complicated with CHD is more obvious.In addition,the level of carotid artery stenosis was positively correlated with the severity of coronary artery disease,in ACI complicated with CHD patients.
