| Objective: To study the relationship between C-peptide and neck vascular disease in type 2 diabetic patientsMethods:Collect 203 hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes, all patients were neck vascular ultrasound examined, observe carotid intima-media thickness(IMT),plaque, body mass index(BMI)were recorded,;smoking history, gender, age, duration of diabetes, fasting blood glucose(FBG)and 2 hour postprandial blood glucose(PBG),the fasting and 2 hour postprandial C peptide, glycosylated hemoglobin, low density lipoprotein, high density lipoprotein, serum cholesterol and triglyceride were examined. The patients in group 1 with without neck vascular disease(IMT value <1.0 mm,control group),the other group as the neck with IMT 》 1 mm for.The C peptide and other related factors were compared between the two groups. Results: 1.The comparison between the two groups: FCP,PCP and high density lipoprotein of the neck vascular lesions group were lower than the control group,Hb A1 C,diabetes, low density lipoprotein were higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant.2.Logistic regression analysis showed that the variables entered the regression equation were age,the duration of type 2 diabetes, fasting C peptide,2 hour postprandial C peptide, low density lipoprotein, high density lipoprotein, glycosylated hemoglobin,smoking.3.ROC curve showed that the optimal threshold value of fasting C peptide in the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus with neck vascular disease was 1.81mmol/L,the area under the curve was 0.738,the standard deviation was about 0.035,and the confidence interval was 0.669-0.806.The optimal threshold value of 2 hour postprandial C peptide recognition and diagnosis was 5.03mmol/L,the area under the curve was 0.777,the standard deviation was about 0.032,and the confidence interval was 0.714-0.840.Conclusion: 1.Hb Al C、duration of diabetes、and LDL-C of the Patients in neck vascular lesions group increased higher,FCP 、 PCP 、 HDL-Cof the Patients in neck vascular lesionsarelower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Logistic regression analysis showed that FCP,PCP,smoking,LDL-C,and the duration of diabetes were into the statistical equation respectively.3.The ROC curve shows the that the optimal threshold value of fasting C peptide in the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus with neck vascular disease was 1.81mmol/L,The optimal threshold value of 2 hour postprandial C peptide recognition and diagnosis was 5.03mmol/L. |
