Objective: To study on the correlation between Fasting C-peptide level and neck vascular disease in patients with type 2 diabetic mellitus. Methods:Retrospective analysis of clinical data of 84 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus admitted to the Department of Endocrinology,Yongchuan Hospital affiliated to Chongqing Medical University.According to whether they had Neck vascular lesions, they were divided into DM.Vascular lesion group(n=55)and simple DM group(n=29).The clinical data of the two groups were compared.Logistic stepwise regression analysis model was used to investigate the relationship between FCP level and DM with Neck vascular disease. Results:Comparie to the simple DM,the Age,Duration of disease, and FCP were higherin DM with vascular lesionsr, but HDL-C was lower(P<0.05).Logistic stepwise regression analysis showed that,Age and FCP was the influencing factor DM with vascular disease(P<0.05).Conclusion:In patients with T2 DM,that who with high fasting C-peptide levels had a higher risk of Neck vascular disease than who with low C-peptide levels.
