The Study Of The Clinical Application Of Qihai (RN6) Acupoint In Ancientry

Objective:Through the study of Qihai(RN 6)acupoint literature collection in ancientry,collation,analysis and induction,dig out the ancient clinical application law of the acupoint.Methods:Using the "Chinese Medical Classics"(Fifth Edition)as the retrieval scope,search the related literature of Qihai(RN 6)acupoint,then set up the database and analyze those date through the software Microsoft Excel.Results:Included 246 the ancient Chinese medicine,and 1478 available provisions.There were 58 kinds of syndromes treated by Qihai(RN 6)acupoint alone,in which there are 21 kinds of advantageous syndromes were screened.There were 87 kinds of syndromes treated by Qihai(RN 6)acupoint combined with other acupoints,in which there are 27 kinds of advantageous syndromes.There are 168 compatibility acupoints and the top five were Guanyuan(CV4),Zusanli(ST36),Zhongwan(CV12),Sanyinjiao(SP6)and Tianshu(ST25).The main needling and moxibustion techniques is moxibustion,followed by acupuncture.The most common quantification for moxibustion is one hundred zhuang.Conclusion:This study systematically summarized the ancient clinical application details of Qihai(RN 6)acupoint,provide more reference value for the clinical and scientific research of acupuncture and moxibustion nowadays.
