Observation Of Clinical Efficacy Of The Number 2 Acne Decoction Combined With IPL In The Treatment Of Erythema Left Over By Acne Vulgaris

Objective: Observation of the clinical efficacy that decoction of traditional Chinese medicine combined with IPL in treatment of erythema left over by acne vulgaris,in order to find out a new method that would provides better clinical effectiveness and have fewer side effects and lower recurrence rate.Methods:Collected 74 cases and randomly divided into two groups,the treatment group,which therpapeutic method is take the number 2 acne decoction combined with IPL,a total of 37 cases.The control group which treatment by IPL only,also consists of37 cases.Taking photoes for all the patients before the first treatment(the 1 day),the third treamtment(the 28 day)and two weeks after the last treament(the 56 day),according to the erythema color,quantity,size,distribution of erythema to get the integrated score,and take the erythema integrated reduction rate as the efficacy index to evaluate clinical efficacy.Results: 56 days evaluation results as the final result proved that the cure rate of the treatment group and the control group was 37.8% and 16.2%,the markedly effective rate83.3% and 54.1%,the total effective rates 100% and 83.8%,respectively,by Statistical comparison P <0.05,which had significant differences in statistics.And the efficacy of the treatment group in the erythema color,quantity,size and distribution was superior to the control group’s.The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group and the control group was 5.41% and 13.51%,respectively,with the statistical difference between the two groups P >0.05,suggesting that there is no difference between them.The recurrence ratesof the treatment group and the control group were 14.29% and 66.67%,respectively,P<0.05,suggesting that the treatment group relapse rate is lower.Conclusion: The number 2 acne decoction combined with IPL have exact effect on the erythema left by acne vulgaris,and have fewer side effects and lower recurrence rate,so that patients regain confidence,thereby improving physical and mental health and quality of life.The treamnent of take number 2 acne decoction combined with IPL reflects the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine,and it is worth further promotion.
