Objective: To investigate the area ratio which were measured from the early contrast-enhanced ultrasound before percutaneous radiofrequency ablation whether has the ability to predict the local recurrence of hepatocellularcarcinoma after percutaneous radiofrequency ablationMethods: A total of 92 cases(108 lesions) were retrospectively enrolled in this study from April 2013 to December 2015 in our hospital. CECT is considered as the standard in the evaluation of therapeutic efficacy of radio-frequency ablation after 1 month ,all of the lesions were dividied to two groups .The area ratio were measured during the arterial phase of the contrast ultrasound before radiofrequency ablation .The area ratio of the two groups were analyzed by t test to measuring differences, while drawing receiver operating curve to determine the area ratio of local tumor progression after percutaneous radiofrequency ablation forecast the diagnostic threshold. Results: 95 lesions were showed complete ablation, 13 lesions were showed incomplete ablation.complete ablation rate was 87.9%, and the area ratio between the two groups were statistically significant (P <0.05 ). Receiver operating area under the curve is 0.882, when the area ratio of 1.08, its prediction of sensitivity, specificity, Youden index were 84.6%, 95.8% and 0.804.Conclusion: The area which were measured on the Contrast-enhanced ultrasound before radiofrequency ablation compared to the two-dimensional gray scale increases may reflect changes in the microenvironment surrounding the lesion,The area ratio which were measured from the contrast -enhanced ultrasound before percutaneous radiofrequency ablation may has the ability to predict the local recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma after percutaneous radiofrequency ablation. |
